  1. XLN helpdesk is defenitely AWESOME (helped me on Windows 7 related installer error last week)

IK Amplitube went flawless, for reinstalling old free Sampletank stuff I would pay 9.95.

    All my 10 ? y/o stuff working yay !

Native Instruments helpdesk guided me to a legacy installer, Guitar Rig5 working.

They all have new nice free stuff too in the installers !

Maybe your Dimensions Pro, Rapture, Zeta....if they show in your Bandlab account you'd be fine I guess.

Give contacting them a try I'd say.

Dimensions/Rapture didn't install with my old serialnos/authorisation codes.

But I didn't reach to Bandlab as have tons synths anyway.

  3. That was before some 'analog' mastering engineers started using Waves Limiter and Weiss EQ (now at Vintage King for $ 10,240 .00).

They are latency HOGS (convert to digital internally) but the Waves definitely got it loud.

get a new vinyl record (remixed and remastered digitally), soso manufactered vinyl....put it on the turntable...

listen while checking all the instagram posts on smartphone...

  4. it COULD be SENSATIONAL

if the original mix TAPE = mastered all analog (and printed to TAPE for vinyl production) and DIGITAL.

maybe nowadays some vinyl is made from a digital old/new master, and possibly even remixed in digital too.

modern converters are perfect and some superfast too, but still add at least say 4 ms latency for just mastering (depending on the DAW settings)

if the analog tape is also remixed on digital...it get's worse.

but hey....it's LOUDER and most importantly it makes MONEY.

    Price tag: $1.765 billion? 🤔

friend at Sweetwater said 1 customer in California yesterday bought 37(!!!) bass guitars...plus 1446 software plugins.

  6. I don't want to buy Guitar Rig 7 (can't install it on my Windows 7 computer).

So hoping someone doesn't use his/her Rig 5 or 6...any version that's got the Plexi/Marshall with 2 seperate drive knobs....would sell it to me.

With the NI product manager, you could deactivate your Rig and get a tranfer code.

With the code, I could then download and activate it.

New pickups, $2.89!  Getting them installed and working correctly, $250!

    🤣

it's just holding a solder iron still a few times..plus operating a Philips screwdriver.

yes $250 for Gene to pretend installing the pickup.

(you wanted the best...you got the best!)

  8. Put a new in my beater hotrodded Harley Benton (DC custom) .

Nothing cheap on it / sounds 100% like other PAF style ones I have.

The guitar came new from a Thomann sale for 119 Eur incl shipping.

I'd say made in (ESP) Ltd factory.

Grover tuners , Wilkinson Korea pu's, which alone cost more than I paid for the guitar.

Also had a SC custom, which I'd bet is again just a LTD  Les Paul.

Apart from Harley Benton's custom line, their guitars are very meh or worse imo (SC450, SC400 + student series).

But their DC & SC custom are proper guitars, feel well built/guality materials/parts (do need a setup job).

Anyone wants to try the 2.89$ pickup :
