  1. Pro performers catch a quick breath at the end of music phrases. This composition would be relatively easy to perform. I am a trumpet player. Regards, Larry Graham Alexander
  2. Nice to cyber meet you. Thanks for your message. Take care. Larry Graham Alexander
  3. This is an excerpt from the third movement of my "Trumpet Concerto Number One". The total length of the uncut movement is about eleven minutes. This excerpt is three minutes and forty-seven seconds. It is a real workout for the trumpet soloist but it is certainly playable. Larry Graham Alexander
  4. Here's one of my orchestral works, "Contemplating Mortality". All of the instruments are from the original East/West Gold sample library. Larry Graham Alexander
  5. This is a frantic, mega-up-tempo country thang that I wrote called "There's A Frog In The Well". http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/FrogInTheWell.mp3 Larry Graham Alexander
  6. Here is an example of one of my sixty-second commercial backgrounds for radio and TV: http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/JulyFourthRomp.mp3 Larry Graham Alexander
  7. This is my "Hornish Rhapsody" featuring solo French horn with small chamber orchestra. http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/HornishRhapsody.mp3 (My mixdown sucks. Sorry 'bout that.) Larry Graham Alexander
  8. This is my composition for four French horns with harpsichord and small string orchestra accompaniment. Here is "Hornswoggled". (That is an Old West term for "scammed" or "cheated".) http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/Hornswoggled02.mp3 Larry Graham Alexander
  9. All, Have a listen to my "Partita Number One" if you wish. It features solo violin (EWQL) with a very big pipe organ (Garritan). http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/Partita01EWQL.mp3 Happy New Year to all forum members. Larry Graham Alexander
  10. Dudes and Dudettes, Here is an all-synth piece that I wrote called "Round Robin". http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/RoundRobinSynths.mp3 There's a lot of counterpoint happenin' in it. Larry Graham Alexander
  11. Very good job, Michael. My kind of music. Thanks for sharing . Best Regards, Larry Graham Alexander
  12. I don't completely understand your message. I utilize the best sampled instruments available and I have been composing and arranging for seventy years. Your sentence about "listening to a pipe organ" is a puzzle to me. If I were you, I would consider obtaining the best playback equipment that you can afford and you will find that things definitely will not sound like a "pipe organ" (unless it it actually a pipe organ), πŸ˜ƒ Larry Graham Alexander
  13. Here are a couple of my all-brass ensemble compositions. They feature trumpets, trombones, French horns and one tuba: "The Brass Rules" http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/TheBrassRules.mp3 "The Brasses Are Coming, The Brasses Are Coming..." http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/TheBrassesAreComing.mp3 Larry Graham Alexander
  14. Y'all All, This is my "Just A Fingerpickin' Minute!" for two guitars. If you are a guitarist, you will immediately hear that there is very little actual "fingerpickin' in this composition. ☺️ (So, why did you name it "Just A FINGERPICKIN' Minute", Larry?) [I don't know. I'm OLD. Give me a break!] http://www.alexandermusic.com/resources/FingerpickinMinute.mp3 My mixdown is not good. Less attention to the high frequencies would have been much better. Larry Graham Alexander
  15. Thank you and a super-cool New Year to you, Mister Zinc. Best, Larry Graham Alexander
  16. There is certainly NO apology necessary. You didn't know that I am an old, sick Dude, nearing the eighty-six year mark . Best Regards, Larry Graham Alexander
  17. Yes, it is a brief digital overload. My health is not good and I don't feel well enough to edit it out right now. Thanks for your input. Larry Graham Alexander
  18. I am glad that you liked "Guitars...". Thanks for taking the time to listen, Mister Kenny. Best, Larry Graham Alexander
  19. I consider your message a nice compliment. Thanks for that. Larry Graham Alexander
  20. Thanks for your message and compliment. Regards, Larry Graham Alexander
  21. I was a contributing member of Northern Sounds (Garritan) since 2004. All of my original music compositions that I posted there are gone. What a sad, disappointing ending. Thank you for all of the information. Larry Graham Alexander
  22. I thank you for listening and responding. Best Regards, Larry Graham Alexander
