  1. "Let's Go Get Stoned" - originally recorded by The Coasters, made famous by Ray Charles and that version was covered successfully by Joe Cocker - too many more covers to mention them all.
  2. The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest - Bob Dylan
  3. With the instruments, it's my own fault. Sometimes things just take too long to learn. With computer it's an entirely different story. Inside that little block of plastic there is an evil being, watching me, just waiting for the worst time to cause trouble, and then when I really need it, and need it in a hurry, almost life and death, it craps out. Notes
  4. I've had the urge to do that to every instrument I've ever owned - and add computers as well. However, I've only shouted great obscenities at them so far.
  5. Someone needs to tell her it's not a hump-back whale ;)
  6. The captive orcas have been known to bite their captors.
  7. Yep, I'm dense Tire tread tracks on my forehead. Well if you land on a porcupine, you might scream! --- "Seeing and Believing" - Screaming Trees
  8. Didn't get the connection between Centerfold and Beat It - but I've been known to be dense from time to time. Here's an obscure (for good reason) blast from the bygone ages of psychedelic rock: "I Can Beat Your Drum" - Fever Tree
  9. Alright, Okay, You Win - Count Basie Orchestra with Joe Williams on vocals
  10. I guess I take my pick of the two 😉 I like Chicago and Muddy Waters and both are associated with Sweet Home Chicago (although I don't know what association that one had with Fox On The Run - please explain Steve so I can get it) I'll pick Baby Please Don't Go to associate with: Baby Baby - Amy Grant Please folks, be kind to thick headed folks like myself. If your association to the song above you isn't obvious, make a note and explain it so I can get the association and join the fun. Thanks!
  11. I can get to 11 if I put my hands in my pockets (OK it's adolescent, but who says I can't go through a second childhood - I'm a musician - but since I am a musician, I figure I haven't finished my first childhood yet)
  12. "Monster Mash" - Bobby 'Boris' Pickett
  13. The Hammer Song - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
  14. F.I.L.T. Falling Is Like This - good one craigb!!! Black Is Black - Los Bravos
  15. I stand corrected. Make no bones about it. I guess I have to bone up on my old Trek history so I don't pull another boner.
  16. In my best 'Star Trek Kirk" voice: "I'm a musician, not a mathematician !!!"
  17. Paulo, I may be dense, but I didn't get the association between "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" by Zappa and "Breath After Breath" by Duran Duran. OK, last entry was "Breath After Breath" by Duran Duran and even though I didn't get it, I'll go with "Every Breath You Take" - Police.
