You as a guitarist should know this Brian...but it's not too late.

I submitted a whole load of guitar tracks here and built up credits:

    https://meldaproduction.com/guitararchive/guitar/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=guitar_event&utm_content=guitararchive_guitar_link

Then with some strategic bundle buying together with the plugins I already had I managed to reduce the price of the everything bundle to a tenner.

    Ahh, yes.

I've submitted about 18 sets or so already from a number of instruments.

Already have MComplete, but was curious if there was another deal on the table to pass on to some friends.

impOSCar2 has three set UI sizes. When newly installed, it loads in the medium size.

To change it turn the EDIT knob over to the CC position. Look for the UI Size dropdown list to the left of the on-screen keyboard. Select a new size from the list. Restart impOSCar2 to view the changes.

I read somewhere that the large size is too big

That worked.  The largest size still has real estate left over on at 1920x1080 monitor.  What a terrible design to have to know that to get a reasonable UI size!

    If true! :)
Keep in mind that the full version still shows as €649.
Some companies do odd things like that.

Yeah, but they have run specials to get from Essential all the way up to Studio for ~200ish a few times.  So the retail price is always the "sucker" price.

    Same.

Haven't kept track with Affinity but at least when V2 came out, it didn't really bring too much new to all of the software. Have they since patched and added things?

I'm sure Affinity would argue with me - but this is the list and for most users, I'd tend to this this isn't game changing stuff.   Of course there have been bug fixes and things of that nature.

Thanks - I hadn't twigged that it was the LE version and was kind of stunned by the price!

Still 76% off, so record lows here.

If you submit one of the guitar recording things - you can get this basically for free which is crazy.

I had LE until I got MComplete and never felt like I was missing out on features with it.  Getting into the Edit page on SoundFactory takes a special type of person.

Shows as €349 with tax for me and for a reference, the upgrade from Essential is €249.

Hmm...that doesn't make much sense if true.  Extra seat for a product one already has $350 or upgrade from the lowest tier ($50 for $250).

I was thinking it should be something nominal like $30 as it is still tied to an individual user.

That price excluded the VAT, 24% in my case. I think this offer might include it, but I'm not sure.

Don't know about VAT as I don't have to deal with that, but current is $74 for the whole suite which brings it into v1 sale pricing territory for those using all 3 products.

It does (for me). I'm still a bit on the fence. It's a great deal, I'm just not sure I need this upgrade.

I use Photo every week (or close to it) and Publisher at least once a month.  I didn't think the v1 to v2 was really worth it at release - but the hope is they will give a few years before charging for v3 - it is a gamble for sure at this point.  Hoping we get some real needed/new features along the way.  But for the average users, I'm not sure I saw much worthy of the price difference.

My price is €80 for the whole creative collection. I'm not sure if it includes VAT. One year ago during the launch sale the price was around €124, I think.

My Black Friday budget is shot to hell.

    Wow that is a deal.

Launch deal was this for everyone (they couldn't track who was a v1 owner)

  9. Wonder how much an extra seat for Studio 5 costs when one already hasStudio 5.  It says this can be done but not sure how much it is during this sale.   Would be nice to get another Ilok authorization but also don't want to pay much to get it.

That makes sense. I guess I was thinking along the lines of rare one offs. But yeah, there are also a lot available, so it would need to be pretty special.

I can't really think of any rare one offs, outside of getting something like Clapton's "Dominos" Champ, etc which by nature then become a signature.

Lots of the grail era mini amps only cost a couple grand.

I would be interested in a small combo signature set. Like 10" 8" and 6" amps.

I'm also a big small amp fan, but I'm not sure what would constitute  the need for the pricey "signature" line there.  That can be done with any partner collection pack (or 3rd party).  The signature line seems like a price justification based on something a bit more unique.

Billy Gibbon's small amp collection, as an example.

A collab with Ultra Sound Amps would have been amazing, but they also sold off of virtually all of the really special stuff they had.

    Another ToneX nube here...

Do I have to copy the preset name and paste it into ToneX to locate & download it?

That is how I've done it.   I've also seen where someone marks it as a liked/favorite then goes into the App to find them.  Haven't tried that yet myself.

With all of the quality capture vendors out there I doubt I'll ever spend $49 on a capture set and let alone $99.

This is a bit unique.   There are two amps that justify this kind of outlay.

    1)  Trainwreck

    2)  Dumble - with a caveat - the good ones

If you factor in the rarity and difficulty in obtaining access to one (or more) plus the time to do advanced captures - $49 while a bit annoying isn't totally insane.

The Trainwreck Amp I helped profile, no question I would have paid that for it - but then again it also makes an ODS look like a common amp.

Outside of this Dumble set, I'm expecting they will do a Joe Bonamassa set - after that they are going to have some difficulty getting something with the same interest / rarity outside of doing artist collaborations where say Slash brings in the "I recorded AFD with this" which obviously would open the wallet of quite a few people.

If they go the Trainwreck route they are going to have a difficult time getting the most desirable model, and I'm sure they would have to settle for an Express or maybe a Liverpool.

So the 20 downloads isn't 20 slots you can rotate? Good to know. I actually thought you can only have 20 downloaded at a time 😀

I don't think I've been getting white noise every 10 seconds. I'm using Tonex from AT5 running under Cantabile. I'll go back and check - the Hiwatt live at Leeds patch has a realistic noise floor.

Nope it is 20 total downloads which will of course make you want more and the paid version.

Love this product (especially with the pedal) but it also encourages addon purchases as that is where I've found the most useful stuff, outside of my own captures of things no one else has access to.  But the capture process on advanced isn't for the faint of heart.  Unless you have an Nvidia graphics card you are looking at an entire work day for a single capture

I have AmpliTube 5 Standard. I haven't bought Tonex so I'm on CS for that.

Last night I played for hours using a user Tonex Preset called "Double Hi-Watt John Entwistle Bass" to work on a set of Live at Leeds we're going to do.

I been using all kinds of presets but my Tonex Account on Tone.net/tonex/users/dougs.ik "User Tone Models Downloads remaining" is still at 20/20.  I'm not even sure how to download presets. Do I only need to download presets if I'm going offline?

I find the Tonex pedal tempting. I could use it for when we record rehearsals direct to our Soundcraft Ui24R

You click the Download Arrow to download them to use when ever you want.  That said, but careful as you only get 20 of them if you have the free version.

I was thinking that until you hit the download button you would be getting white noise every 10 seconds - seems odd if you are not experience this and have 20 left.

For anyone that's interested, This is probably on top of the 30% off:

    TJ sale.JPG

Don't think the codes stack (as the 30% off requires a code).  The top tier discounts usually are gone within 2 minutes of email release.  I've been in the checkout process a few times in the past with code applied and by the time I enter my MFA code they are all gone and can't be applied to my purchase.

I've got everything released on the Tonex, NAM and IR front.  Just waiting for more releases at this point.

His new Marshall Astoria pack surprised me in a good way.  Didn't have great hopes for the amp but found it to be a bit of a gem.

No.  1 one for iLok and another for machine authorization.

Interesting, I had read the first line before and thought the transfer was effectivly moving the entire liscence system when you select it.

Regarding the "it can't be retrieved" I wonder if this means if your ilok breaks they don't care and won't let ilok issue another license to you.

I don't even remember which version I have since I rarely use it.

My only beef with Celemony is it overwrites the older version.

It has the old school two machine limit.  The nice thing is you can put one on iLok and one on a machine.

I'd expect a better deal than this for an extra license.

I thought once you put it on a physical ilok you only get one auth and the machine option goes away.

It is two without ilok involved that I'm sure about.

I need to look this up again as I was surprised it wasn't giving me 2 ilok authorizations.

Why in the world would he create his own plugins for this instead of a Kontakt library? It’s especially bad since he's known to abandon his plugins until the next paid version. Oh well. Windows users enjoy, I guess.

If you have Kontakt then the question is why would you buy/pay for yet another piano library?

With his own - it has value to those that haven't paid for the Kontakt overhead, investment cost = $20.

It makes sense to simply add to his offerings getting out of just effects and is a logical leap from the Clap, Stomp, etc that was an instrument.

I'm also curious about the size, while he says it isn't a 40-60 GIG library, just how small is it exactly?
