  1. Hello, I'm trying to find a demo project for Cakewalk, but it looks like there's no new or up-to-date available However, I found something for X3, which could work? https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013323/SONAR-X3-Demo-Javier-Colon-Jimmy-Landry-These-Arms However, it looks like its not possible to login to download, as I don't have an account here, and its not possible to create a new one. Is there anywhere else one could get a hold of this - or, somewhere I might have missed that hosts Cakewalk demo projects. It would be great to have a look at how others have setup and worked with a project. Mostly interested in acoustic audio projects, guitars, piano, drums, vocals and such.
  2. Hello, I've been working on one project where I've corrected a drum track using AudioSnap by splitting the original track into clips. I wanted to use this drum track on a different project, as the two projects are close in tempo (but not the same) and in style, and the band never came around to record a drum track for the second project. I wanted to keep the split clips in the track and copy it in this state (as I might need to adjust various individual beats/clips) to the second project, following this guide I found: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X2&language=3&help=Recording.35.html The original wav source in the first project was around 43 MB - when copying the track with its split clips to second project it created individual wav files for each of the copied clips in the second projects audio folder - each with a size of 43 MB. I was expecting the copied track to look like its source, with one wav file that is split in clips. Is there some way to accomplish this, so that there's not an excess of wav files in the audio folder taking up space?
  3. Hello, I went with the first option - I created two aux tracks that each contains the Sonitus Delay, the first with Preset 1 and the other with Preset 2. Then I've created Sends from the base track to these two, and automating the send levels on the base track at the various points throughout the song. This works, and is easier to maintain than fiddling with the Sonitus Delay parameters. Thanks!
  4. Hello, as the title suggests, I'm trying to find a way to automate a preset change in the Sonitus Delay FX. I've managed to create automation on a particular track for this effect for the MixL/MixR parameters (and other parameters), but I thought that since I need the fx to change during the playback of the song at certain locations, it would be much easier to create two custom Presets and simply switch between them. But, I can't figure out how to do that - Preset does not appear as a selectable parameter in the automation context of the track. How can this be accomplished, if possible? Thanks,
  5. Super, I think this is exactly what I need. Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the feedback. If I update a mix scene in the original project, can that be exported/applied to the radio edit project?
  7. Hello, I've been thinking about doing a "radio edit" of one of my songs, which will make the song shorter by cutting out bars (mainly a chorus). Is it possible to keep the versions (original mix and radio edit) in the same project by using Mix Scenes or do I need two separate projects for this.
