Magma have taken many high quality bootlegs and publish them as AKT Dokuments. The product number (SKU) of the bootlegs (and other oddities) is AKT # (with # being a number, not the hash sign; e.g., AKT 7). I think there are a couple of DVDs in the series, too.

I don't know if you have them or not, but the Retrospectiw vol. 1-3 disks (from 3 nights in 1980) are really good.

It looks like a bunch of stuff is sold out, including the Retrospectiw v1-2 double CD.

The online shop, like much of the rest of France, is on vacation for the next 3 weeks.

Yesterday I  discovered this video from Magma ,

    I got totally  shocked .😊

Thanks for that. This sax player has never heard of Emil before, and will definitely listen to more.

On the subject of "Stolen Moments" IMO Mark Murphy is one under-rated singer and this cut features The Muse All-Stars with the great Richie Cole on alto sax.

    Stolen Moments -

    Thanks for the tipp, Notes.

I like the sound of the music (specially sax and vocs)

above a lot ,never heard of  Mark Murphy before .

Good to get new music inspiration through this forum.

  3.  Emil Mangelsdorff Quartet feat. Joe Gallardo, Wilson de Oliveira & Manfred Schoof

Emil Mangelsdorff (11. April 1925) , imo one of the most underrated sax player ,

His brother, Albert, is welknown in Germany.

Emil Mangelsdorff has been rated as the best sax player  in the Guitar player polls  from the end of

the 70th and  the beginning of the 80th, Michael Brecker as Nr. 2.

A sensation for a german sax player which not many people ( in germany) know.

I´m looking for some videos from his performances during that time (end of 70th and beginning of v the 80th)

in the US. which seems to be  hard to find,

    anybody ?

Wow, that Sagmeister Trio are a fantastic bunch of musicians....enjoyed that very much!!

On a completely different note, listening to this now ;)

    Thanks for posting this.

That´s the rock sound I  like , didn´t know this band before.

  5. Yes, I replaced an old pc (Core2 duo -32 bit) in the rehearsel/recording studio

    with a refurbished

    Fujitsu Esprimo E710 DT | PC | Computer | Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3,2 GHz | 4GB DDR3 RAM | Intel HD Graphics 4600  /

    500 GB HDD | DVD-Drive  | Windows 10 Home

    for 149 Euro.

It´s a system without a cooler , very silent , running very good with Cakewalk (I added 8GB Ram

and a second harddrive )  the flat box version .

The case does have some scratches and it is robust to handle.

    For 149 Euro a steal .

I heard Donkeys have an ear about as good as Van Gogh 's .

That's why I  use the New Guitar Tuner that comes  with The Waves Farm Edition Bundle .

My guitar tuners  ear is very  accurate up or down to 0.01 cent  and he don't steal the becan .
