I use a ton of samplers with different one shots (Kontakt). I just would like something with a nicer interface. I’m trying Reason+ right now and Mimic is pretty nice.
-
Was going to buy from them but that’s a nope for me.
-
Does it still use 1 GB RAM per instance?
-
Yeah, Kontaktlessness is akin to madness for me lol
But you’re pretty well covered so you should be alright.

Brilliant stuff!

Thanks, gentlemen. I just realized that AT5 is also not recognized by REAPER, so something else is afoot...

(Vst3). I upgraded to the latest AT version but no luck. Any workaround?
Edit: I cancelled the scan and opened the plugin manager to re-scan but it says that scan is already running...

Nice freebie!

Wow you guys are maniacs 😂
I think 100-200 for me, but I got a bunch of Kontakt libraries.

RX950 is one of my top 3 most used plugins, total secret weapon.

CS version is pretty generous! Those 10 amps are essentials that every studio owner would dream to have.

You can usually find this on kvr for cheaper. I don’t know about the other ones but this one sounds pretty nice compared to MAutoPitch and ReaTune.

If you use REAPER, there's also RCInflator 2 (get it from ReaPack). You could use a JSFX wrapper to use it in other DAWs.

Got the other ADA myself. That tapped delay should even widen vocals.
Testing it now with pads and bass synth. AMAZING analog flavor, vibey goodness, electric juiciness, spring-time lower body fatness an all the adjectives in the world cannot describe how this thing sounds. I recommend it.

ADA Flanger looks nice...

If you compare it to Reaper yes. Other DAWs no.
I'm mostly comparing it to itself a year ago.

Start speculation on the demise of Cakewalk again, 3...2...1...go! 🤣
Not at all, just curious about where development is going.
I hope they integrate a sampler BTW, one of my most wanted additions.

Anybody else thinks that development has become slow? For a long time updates have been small bug-fixes, with the ocassional feature. But nothing like the first couple years. Do you think they lost part of their team and this is the new reality? Or maybe they’ve been working on something big for a while, like an engine rewrite?

I use Surge XT when I need a 'super synth', which I rarely do. Much lower CPU and arguably more powerful. GUI takes some getting used to. Definitely should upgrade my PC soon though. Vital does have a very nice workflow.

I love it but CPU is kind of crazy for my ancient laptop

Make sure the mode is Autostretch before enabling Clip Follows Project and set the Online rendering algorithm to 'Groove'. I've found the Elastique algorithms can get weird in certain situations, especially with percussive/rhythmic parts. I've only ever reproduced a progressive loop sync error like that once, and it was so slight (samples per iteration) that it took hundreds of iterations to get to a 20ms delay.
Thanks, that solved the problem! I had no idea about the different modes, will have to research a bit.
Do you know if there’s a way to make every clip to follow project by default? Everything that I record and import will be streched during the project and would like it to be the default behavior like in Studio One and REAPER. Thanks for the help!

It's €27,99 for me, not 8,40€.

Sample One XT is one of the WORST integrated samplers. It's very basic compared to the ones in Live, Reason, Digital Performer, Cubase's sampler track, all of which can do much more... and it's bugged since years and Presonus refuses to fix it:
