  1. Thanks! Their free amp sim is awesome and uses basically no CPU. Will try this soon, looks like a well featured saturator.
  2. This is not s political forum but your first statement about surgeries not taking place is false. I'll say no more about it.
  3. NEVER GIVE IN TO MOBS. Stand firm, give 'em the finger. You don't need to be liked by everyone. But you do need to like yourself, since you live with yourself. Stand your ground, speak your truth and face the consequences. The world of free sample libraries is now worse off because a company couldn't stand the heat. The whole world becomes a worst place if you wuss out.
  4. I have their T6 keyboard and had the LX25+ before, but I'm not impressed with their Nektarine software or their drum synth plugin. It's been pretty buggy. Support has been great though, but I'll wait until they get their software department sorted out before I buy a VST from them.
  5. Oh yeah, the snotty attitude goes WAY beyond that but I won't get into that.
  6. GOYO Voice Separator | De-noise, De-Reverb, De-Voice - All in One Plugin Impressive results. Very useful for recording vocals in untreated rooms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBb7vCgLbfI
  7. Is there a way to change expression from CC11 to CC1? Also, REAPER sees it but Bitwig doesn't
  8. https://www.synful.com/ The demos sound quite nice, I haven't tried it yet. Apparently it's some sort or synthesis method instead of samples. Used to cost a few hundred bucks.
  9. I think White Tie doesn't have the talent to make something amazing. All of the suggestions people made about the new theme were simply brushed off repeatedly and we were told that he would simply do wha he wants. I said that his attitude was unacceptable towards paying customers and that any decent company would fire an employee like that. He proceded to delete my posts (he's the forum moderator). So yeah, Reaper is a company run by a guy who has NO aesthetic or moral sensibilities to see that the guy he hired is a talentless tyrant. I now use Bitwig.
  10. https://www.ohmforce.com/plugins Some old-school gems in there! You need to be logged in to download.
  11. No audio demo. https://salisburyplugins.com/2023/07/24/salisbury-plugins-tonebox/
  12. Sounds nice, and that solo feature is quite useful for processing the vocal "takes" separately.
  13. I'm trying it out now. Works great with very low CPU use. It has a granular mode but also a loop mode and a one-shot mode, so very versatile. The only problem is that the samples I drag are not being set to C but to G and there's no way to adjust that from the interface. EDIT: you need to the Root drop down to Auto. It wasn't working at first but when you set it to Manual and then back to Auto it works. This is my main one-shot sampler now.
  14. Studio One. I get an error message when scanning... I remember it happened before. I think it may be a registry thing. Same thing with Amplitube 5 (4 works fine).
  15. I've been using the NI ones but really don't like them. I have the Lounge Lizard Session one which is physical modeling that I'm going to try later today as my last few projects convinced me that I don't like the sound. Arturia also has some modelling EP's, a few patches are included in Analog Lab. I'm going to install the Addictive Keys collection again to see if I gel with those.
  16. "SK10 is a free audio plugin that simulates a sub-kick microphone." Pretty cool concept!
  17. I jumped through the hoops and didn't get the plugin.
