The walkthough sounds really good. Do you know if he has plans to do a solo cello library?
That would be my wish too. Meanwhile, the Joshua Bell violin by Embertone fulfills my violin needs.

It resembles the ImpactSoundworks Hydra.

I think it’s absolutely worth it, as Soundiron got the smaller version and 8Dio the large one, when Tonehammer split up.
But as King L wrote, this one’s full Kontakt only.- 3

Interesting indeed.

Nice one. Got the bundle and the pultec. Gewd stouph.

Okay, found the deal breaker. Geosonics II does not allow access to the raw field recordings, as the original Geosonics does.

Use the 20% off extra code to get all those awesome extensions you wish you already own.
Already on it.
Wondering which other ones I’d want. Maybe not Polar Sun or Scanner X, but Terra Incognito by Boddy seems nice. -

I understand. Still, they are far behind Toontrack for the number of extensions.
Just trying to convince myself not to spend more on Soniccouture, but Geosonics II does have 8,7GB of sounds compared to the original’s 6GB. There goes $38. And that Seasons sound pack by Veenstra does look gewd. There goes another $16. Stop!

You’re missing out on a great product.
Actually, the original has most of what’s in Geosonics 2, and I don’t like the matter’s GUI as much, but I’m mostly miffed by the number of extensions they’ve been putting up for sale.

I love their basses and guitars, especially the acoustic ones as I’m more into singer-songwriter territory, but I’m also patiently waiting for the Kontakt Player upgrade of their wonderful Rosewood Grand. Meanwhile, as for keys, that Famous E Rhodes is simply marvelous to play.

Don't forget that today is the last day for the JULY4 20% Off code!
Thanks Larsy!

It’s a bit like UVI’s Quadra but with more complex sequencing options.

Mmmm. Upgrading my Geosonics to Mk2 is $38.
But I paid $50 for the original.
So no. -
Already got the first one. Nice.

Hey UAD, I want to remain a lurker for life.

Craig N has a good point about the noise contents. Different kinds of noise can be treated with delay and phaser. Still, mostly sweeper oriented so not my cup of organic tea.

I have never seen it on their site. Maybe I missed it. Or is it legacy?
An LE version came free with Beat last year

It’s from 2014
Actually 2012, as part of the Electro-Suite bundle, then set loose in 2014.

Great news indeed, PC.

I was not looking for anything in particular and stumbled upon this sale.
Indeed, I'm not looking for compressors, eqs or anything like that.
Even synths... and I'm usually freak about'em, So the emulation of classic synths like minimoog and the like... I pass!
But this Opal synth looks very interesting. An original design with wavetables and great sounding va filters.
Resembles Serum, but I never cared for this one as it's too much EDM oriented to my taste (and never saw it for a good price).
But the Opal synth is on sale for $59 until Jul-17. I'll check further but I'll probably bite.
Was looking at that one too, but went for FabFilter Twin 3 and RevealSound Spire. Together with Arturia Pigments and their V Collection those awesome Dawesome synths from Tracktion I’m all set, notwithstanding U-he, of course.

I think they will keep the price up for this one.
Fabfilter here, and it does the job, so no more plugins. As far as PA is concerned, I have several channel strips, ADPTR Audio stuff, some plugins by Unfiltered Audio and half a dozen emulations on top. Enough for me. Maintenance work on my system is mainly deleting things these days.
Similar story here. And way too fond of all those FabFilter goodies
