Is this a tool for a graphic artist, or can a musician with aspirations to make films learn to use this?

Is a tool for 3d artists.
If you want to make films with real footage, you might wanna try  Htfilm or DaVinci Resolve. those are free
I am a working musician but moved to 3d to get more freelance work :)

Wednesday should provide a big hint about how realistic hitting 20k by the end of the month is. If you compare the situation to the "race to 10k" at the end of August:

On the afternoon of August 26th, the "10k by 8/31" promotion was announced.
At the time, the August signup rate was around 14.6/hour.
To hit 10k in 5+ days, the rate needed to increase to 22.3/hour.
The rate didn't change much until the morning of the 27th, but jumped to > 28/hour the rest of the way, coasting past 10k.

On the afternoon of September 21st, the "20k by 9/30" promotion was announced.
At the time, the September signup rate was around 12.6/hour (but around 9/hour since the 17th).
To hit 20k in 9+ days, the rate needs to increase to 14.4/hour.
The rate hasn't changed much (as of midnight on the 21st), but... we'll see what happens.

The 64-thousand-VST question is: who's left in the tank? Without a surge or two, it looks like the rate would fall short. The pace is currently 50 signups behind the required average, and (counting just from 3pm Tuesday) projected to come in under 19k.

On the other hand, the rate didn't jump last time until the next day, and the goose needed this time is far smaller -- or put another way, there's almost twice as much time (9 vs. 5 days) to get about as many signups (3150 vs. 2925). If the 9/hour recent rate is the "baseline", reaching 20k requires just about 1100 "extra" people to come out of the woodwork in a week-plus. Are they in there? And do they need oodles of amp sims? Will someone octuple up? We may find out soon.

This analytics are detailed af. you might be interested in technical analysis or something :P

  4. Oh man,  I feel so silly, because I read all the thread and STILL can't understand a simple think:

I own AT4 MAX, so if I buy AT5 SE I would be able to use all that suff inside AT5, am I right?

What would be nice is to see what NEW things I would be missing. That PDF comparison would benefit by adding some colors on what is new

THIS area seems to be where IK, again, "fails to hit the target"...repeatedly.  They're great at giving NEW
customers "incentives", but always neglect the long time "heavy investors"!

    But that's just MO...

That's my opinion too.  They could have release it $30-$50 for owners of Total Studio or something,  from the $150-$199  just to feel a little respect

I understand the business, but there is business in giving rewards (no jam points please) to long time users. "The comunnity"

Lol , i liked reason back then as a play ground for sound design , but i m mai ly wondering if the lite version enougth to have fun or it will be ssd waste ... until you get full , witch is the last thing i need right now ...

just for this 4 items, I would get it

Substractor, the old thug. worth it
Monotone is fun, has some depth
Stream 4 Distortion is pretty good
And the Reverb has some classic IR

btw Some awesome records have Substractor for the Sub Bass in EDM and Substractor + Stream 4 for 808 kind of fx.

adaptiverb isn't a standard reverb like the others you listed - there's a demo (I think) so give it a try.....may need ilok ?

    highly recommend it

    I'll install it tonight.  thanks

  10. One question:
I have Valhalla VintageVerb, Waves IR, H-Reverb, Ableton IR Reverb, TSAR 1, RC48/24 ,  littlePlate  and I always feel that I am missing something.
Am I missing Adaptiverb or am I missing learning-how-to-get-the-best-of-what-I-f-have?

I was looking closely to Sunset (2expensive4me) after viewing @Zo vid, but it is too expensive and this one looks more versatile
    I'll trust you guys

I never got the time to even register the Abbey Road Collection. If anyone’s interested, he or she can have all 11 plugins unregistered for $119 (evidently much less than paid) plus PayPal cost if any.

    Edit: first PM gets it

    That is wild, Fleer!
If I may ask (you don't have to answer tho), what are the circumstances that lead you to buy a relatively expensive plug  and not register it.  :) Maybe you have an studio and buy plugins in case you need them for a project
I don't mean to be disrespectful, just curious as I saw it happen in kvr too

interesting... seems they have changed their names...

previously BA500, now it seems to be SVX-500... Have they lost love from Ampeg ?

Anyway even after refreshing my gear I still have old names, not like on newest pictures

That's true! they erased the "Ampeg" from the Vst too. Maybe they lost the license.
It still sounds the same, that is the important thingy :)
