Nectar 3 Plus and Neutron 3 Advanced here. Not on subscription, just iZotope Music Production Suite 4.

How is Nectar 3 different from plus? I can upgrade it for $49 but no real reason to.

That must have been short lived, I'm in 3 different tiers and when they released the new options I checked sometime that first day starting at the lowest tier and worked my way up to see which tier I could potentially get them on.  Wasn't until I got up to the $200 tier that my account saw them as available.

I agree $150 is quite steep for an effect plugin that is locked inside an echosystem (and an echosystem where the host is rather resource heavy.  But they also have T-Racks units I'd say the same about $100+ for a plugin outside of group buy territory is basically madness in this market.  But having them in the group buy makes it more palitable.  Wish they were in the $80 tier and I'd grab all 4 of them.

Got Vibe and Reverb, have to decide if I think Time is worth if for one of the very few remaining selections I have at the $200 tier.  Because with the other Delays I have (think MTurboDelay, Audority Echorec, Boz Imperial, Obliq Delay, Unfiltered Audio etc) the only thing I'd be getting out of it is really the ability to put it in the effects loop within AT5.

It was.  I wondered what they were.  When an email came out about these software pedals they weren't in there.  They were not in the Custom shop either when they were in the promotions.

  3. Even though I only put $49 in the GB on Wed. those X gear peddles were in my free choices.  I was going to get them yesterday but they were removed. Those software versions are $149. IK giveth and taketh away.   I really don't see anyone paying that kind of price for a software peddle.  So I'm slightly pissed and waiting for the last minute is not a good idea.

They probably had no choice, what with the IK Group Buy bleeding everyone dry!

These unit are not available yet,  I'm a sucker for these smaller interfaces. I use to collect them back when M-Audio started doing this.  I have a MOTU M2 on a system.

  5. So I will end up with at least 12 promotions left over.  Basically the only choice would be duplicate licenses.  You really don't need duplicate licenses anymore. Maybe they will throw something different in at $49.   If someone was new to all of this DAW madness the choices for investing $49 is great.

I thought this would be the only GB to blow off having TS Max but not this time.

I added some additional info to my recent post. W.A. Production support got me back up and running with Liquid Notes. But no successor product was released for that.

It really wasn't worth keeping on my system anymore.

    Sweet, devices like in MSoundFactory.
    And I’ve got MCabinet!

    Fun to be had 🥳

They have tutorials on them. I thought about making my own stuff.

  8. I guess the only reason for me to enter this group buy is to get the Cinekinetik instruments and those other ones.   So that would be 8 libraries for $49?  That would also be 12 free that can't be fulfilled.  I have the latest Total Studio.

I PAID £18.00 and some change. I've never found these things very helpful in the past, too much EDM feel, BUT!, I think this might actually rival dare I say, BIAB?... LOL... we'll see!. I have a very nice collection of stuff I can throw it at, I might finish that opus of mine. If not, I didn't pay a whole lot, just uninstall.

I'm waiting for that 12 tone serialism app.

These pattern things are kinda overkill.  I have no idea how many of these I have and haven't put them to use.

I'm not removing anything from my Komplete 13 Ultimate.  I will never know when I may want a different instrument than the usual sounds and Komplete has different. There are different sounds of bases, guitars, horns, keys organs, West Africa,  India,  Middle Eastern sounds, expansion orchestral,  and the like.  I can be inspired at anytime and instead of trying to purchase the sound, it's already in my arsenal.   Nope, I'm not removing a thing.

Nice option is if you delete them you can download them again or archive them on a portable drive.

  11. I have the previous version of Komplete and I've purchased enough 3rd party libraries I have to consider what I really don't need to free up space. The nice thing is if you remove some libraries you can download them again.

Always wondering what other users have removed.

    I removed

Most of the Abbey Road Drums - got enough drum sets with XLN, Toontrack
Symphony Essentials - except woodwind, percussion.

    ??? to remove

Not sure Session Strings Pro 2 is needed. Bot enough strings
    All Scarbee libraries except guitar

Of course when you go through these you think "oh maybe I should keep it installed".

As for pianos I have enough Sampletekk, not sure most of the NI ones are worth keeping that existed in previous versions of Komplete.

This looks and sounds pretty good to me.  There was a big ruckus in the VI forum about this one (and KH in general).  I picked up KH Diamond Symphony on sale a while back.  Good sounds, but kind of a difficult and dated interface.  This looks pretty straightforward.  Might even me simple enough for me to use.

Sometimes we treat that forum as the final authority on any library.  There is  no doubt a bias against KH libraries.  Some of them get paid for their work and I get that. Interesting though is if a developer comes out with (insert any name) Strings they often ooh and ah.  One developer pointed that out when he make a cinematic or trailer library whatever.  The wheel can only be invented so many tines and it takes a while for a hobbyist to figure that out.

Interesting once when Hans Zimmer Strings came out a guy made a 4 hour video on it and was expecting it to be more "Hans Zimmer" and Hans came on the forum and insulted him.  Hollywood ego at best.  I think that library was $700.  Never mind that the guy wasn't thanked for buying it.
