It's slightly annoying in the updater. I might not mind if they had a button in the sidebar for promotions just under the one for updates.
It is just intrusive in the plugin.

yup. no jammies allowed on IK site.
big fan of fame and sunset. still not sure about farm yet. i see people complaining online that its sparce in features compared to the other two.
This product is all about the Phil Collins drum sound. Yes it is a one trick pony but it's not like they are trying to convince anyone otherwise.

I'm not into all the deep deathy metal styles that they have in their MIDI packs, but the NWOBHM and Heartland Rock MIDI sets are pretty good, as well as some of the punk ones.

In that thread, ED was saying that they had good feedback about that feature. I think maybe it's time to give them our feedback on their forum.

We are not allowed to discuss this topic. There are at least 100 pages already here you can read at your leisure.
Most of which contain no useful information because they have turned into food fights over payment plans.

Finally! It was so stupid the way they had it set up.
You could have set it up to replace the current instrument if you wanted. Unfortunately they made it the default to add to the rack.

Rematrix libraries also on sale.

I don't think it's worth the time to download, much less $49.
I'll admit I am not familiar with the Model 120, but this sounds more like an AWE-32 era acoustic piano soundfont than what most people would think of as a Wurlitzer. The decay sounds a bit off to me as well. The Wurli from Dash/Wusik's EVE from 20 years ago is significantly better.

It really sucks this is iOS only. I'm not a fan of fiddling on my phone, but the prospect of working out ideas quickly is great. A melody in your head or a drum pattern. You have no idea how many melody lines I have whistled and recorded on my phone. Also I have a 2x 25 minutes commute by train which are ideal for noodling stuff out. Right now I'm mindlessly scrolling Instagram or 9gag and listening to music. When I get home I fire up Ableton. But that could be so much more integrated.
Android has terrible latency problems though.

I think i have this. Will check when i get home. If it is what i think it is, it's damn good for contemporary RnB and lo-fi. I'll post which instruments it uses
That's pretty much what all of their demos for all of their products sound like (even for the Mello-V set), so you just might be right about it being damn good for those genres.

But does it have "PPG Wave 420 B"? Been trying to find that sound for ages.
No, but I never bought into the hype surrounding that one anyway. Just because that one guy had that one stupid song with it...

The sounds are not bad, but the interface is pretty wretched. On top of that, most of the patches have useful names such as "PPG Wave 000 A"

I've also been a victim of this guy's business practices including receiving incessant spam, despite multiple removal requests. On a professional level, the way this guy behaves and presents himself, his company, and responds to questions and/or criticisms online are terrible. Always plays the victim and constantly brings up his health issues as excuses.
He was banned from KVR and used to have posting abilities on /r/audioproductiondeals but that was removed. On /r/vsti he was given a temporary ban for violating the subreddit's policies, then he used an alt account to continue doing what he was banned for which resulted in a permanent ban. Being limited on Reddit and banned from KVR are not good for marketing.
I don't think his business woes are as a result of covid. More likely, he has upset his past customers for a variety of reasons including spam. Any potential customers doing some google searching would quickly realize they would be better to spend their money elsewhere. It's almost like actions have consequences. The chickens have come home to roost.
I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a victim of his business products. I bought into a few group buys and thought it was fair value for the time. You also have to remember that pre financial-crisis there weren't that many players and even things like Dimension Pro had an MSRP of $359 at the time. So a $39 group buy seemed like a steal. And until he ported to 64 bit everything worked fairly well.
There's always been drama, but in the early days a lot of it was brushed aside because he had a decent product at a decent price. His issues got worse as well as the products.
Wusik will fail primarily because his products have not been able to keep up with the market. Even if William Kafelz hadn't poisoned his brand with his behavior, he would still be having many of the problems he is having.

True, but that would also require competitors to play nice in the sandbox. You do not see that very often anywhere in life.

Yeah, something changed. I'm down to 3 authorization left across all my products which is certainly inaccurate as the base used to be 10 as of the last time I ran this.
Hopefully a temporary mistake on IKM part as this would be a major move in the wrong direction.
You're not alone. I found myself down to 3 authorizations as well.

I'm not really impressed by this.
Then again I've noticed that a lot of musicals coming out lately, excluding jukebox musicals, don't have memorable songs. Maybe that's what they were going for?

Doesn't Bitwig also allow for importing native Ableton and FL Studio files already?
Yes, it does.

It would be nice to see Sonar eventually on that. Of course it would have been nice if they had functionality to export P5 to Sonar.
