Do they mean that 6.0 is going to be released soon?

In terms of features, is it more like Orb Composer Artist or like Orb Composer Pro? (e.g., can you use with time signatures other than 4/4?)

My experience has been that references to "paid product" for IK upgrades meant that it's not one of the (always) free versions. If you get a full version (normally not free) as part of a promo (which could make it free) you're still eligible for upgrades

In particular, I did get a full version of SampleTank as a promotional item when I purchased an iRigs pad, and it is eligible for upgrades

Thank you. I did see those but they are subscription renewals. What I would like to buy is upgrade&support renewals for a "perpetual" license. Sice I got Pro Tools I've been renewing at <$100/year but this year Avid multiplied their prices and made them almost the same price as subscription renewals in order to discourage perpetual licenses. My guess is that they may lose a bit of recurring income from those of us who were renewing and now may stay at current version instead.

Decisions, decisions. HG-2, VSM-3 or both?...

Wishful thinking... next they'll start stocking pro tools support renewals and then there will be a good promo for BF...

Actually, I've been watching recently the UVI Falcon training at ask.audio and Halion seems quite similar to UVI Falcon in terms of capabilities (makes sense that Falcon is one of the crossgrade options)
