  1. $20 + $15 - $25 = $10. Cost me extra $5. Meh. Saved me from adding another plug-in I'll never use to my collection. Worth it! LOL

It's $14.99 on sale without a coupon so you can even get a better deal by adding on another $19.99 plugin to be able to use the monthly $25 voucher.

You can get this and the Amek 250 for $19.98 with your $25 Voucher

  2. Big congrats dude. With all the algos and stuff these days, it’s quite an accomplishment.

My band’s self-released 45 from the 80s is more popular today than it ever was when we first made it. I think a copy went for $2k recently. 😲 Collectors are crazy.

The new buttons are a huge improvement on some previously not -great  apps like the free digital clock.  You can actually read it now.  I expect there will be a lot of apps taking advantage of the new size.

I forgot to mention, the Premiere Pro version came out today.  More setup for me.  The Cubase template took hours to do bacause you must do a lot of it by hand.  Also, it doesn't have full functionality unless it's Cubase 12.

  4. My gawd, it's gigantic. I wish they would have used the same button size and density as other models. Seems an odd choice. Can never have too many buttons, eh? Looks like a cool controller nonetheless. 😁👍

I got mine a few days ago.  The big news is that the sideshowfx template for my XL work in tandem with the sideshowfx template for this. Everything works.

So I can use the knobs when the knobs are helpful (scrolling, zooming, adjusting levels, etc) and I still have access to  32 more keyboard shortcuts available at the touch of a button.

In the coming weeks I'll be customizing both sides to make the best combination for my workflow.

In terms of what kind of MIDI the knobs can control, there is a  free MIDI program that comes with every Stream Deck.  You have to install it to use the sideshowfx templates.

How this works with knobs, I have no idea.  This was made before there were knobs.  But I'll be finding out.

  5. Here's a better list. Historically, not the best prices, but if you've really need...

There are some decent Sample Logic deals on APD.   Everything at base price today.

A lot of their major libraries in the $89.99 - $99.99 range.  A few at $109.99.

The original Drum Fury is $59.99

  6. Agreed. Why did they even bother? 😖

Worst Sample Logic BF sale.   Ever.

I know they have never gone crazy, but at least put a couple of your products on sale.

@cclarry - doesn't APD put everything at base price sometime around BF?

I have it and he said that it is a spectacular powerful eight-part synthesizer and very easy to use but, the negative thing is that the Parawave developer is very abandoned in terms of updates and plugin support, plus not having a dedication and contact with customers which makes him somewhat distrustful when investing in this plugin....

Take this for what it's worth. There maybe hope. From their FAQ:

    Feature Roadmap

New exciting features are in development and will be released with every major update. It's only a matter of time. To bridge this time for curious users, we assembled a list of the planned features and general ideas for future updates. See it as our vision of future development. The priorities can change depending on the wishes of our users. We appreciate your feedback.

This list is not complete and does not guarantee that every feature will be implemented immediately or in any specific order.

    Advanced Modulations

Planned for Rapid 1.9 is an enhanced 'Routing Nodes' editor with modular sub-processors.

    • Custom source/target mapping curves.
    • "Via" modulation operator.
    • Procedual Gate sequencer.
    • Scale/Pitch Quantizer.
    • Additional per routing modulators.

    Sound Sources

Rapid already provides Wavetables, Multi-Samples, Frequency Modulation, Phase Modulation and even Granular Synthesis. Still, there are possibilities for specific sample based sources that ease the creative process.

    • BPM Based Loop Player.
    • Sample Slice Player.

    Effect Slots

    • Buffer based Granular FX.
    • Phase Vocoder based Spectral FX.

    Workflow Additions

    • Copy/Paste/Save/Load effect stacks.
    • Module Wizard functions.
    • Quick Import.
    • Embedded Presets content.

    Extra Functionality

    • Randomizer.
    • Key switches/latches.
    • Arpgeggiator MIDI out.
