in the presonus space, it looks like they're using the PipelineXT plugin to create the "mono" paths on the stereo pair, and (in the examples shown) mono assignment on each of the non-stereo pairs of the presonus IO unit. (seems similar to the Kontakt output matrixing where you are virtualizing the outputs). https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/4443978272397-Studio-1810c-Using-Pipeline-XT-in-Studio-One
so are folks asking for something like a matrix option in the external insert rather than the simplistic L-R-Mono on the outputs (send)? i only have a pair of outputs on my in-use unit whereas my rack unit has 8 so presumably i can select those L-R-Mono pairs as presented by the Windows OS.

same - works are described - nice catch. i wonder if this was by design or a happy accident?

there's a good thread?!
why so judgemental? eh? LOL

i think the use case are notes in PRV and anything associated to those notes. but presumably other MIDI bits could be involved, so you would (like Mark suggests) need context - maybe a dialog like "Select Special" is needed to add checkboxes for the context and the action - none, all, invert

but having 10 threads means they can each divert into tangents without ruining the good thread... 😉

the challenge for many - Microsoft (and numerous products) set permissions to "improve security" and periodically i find permissions have been reset during updates, and some programs (mostly non-audio products) set really strict permissions, and some even set sub-folder as "system" etc (and i won't mention some Adobe products doing crap like this...).
so installing as admin should be a normal action, however, running as admin, means some permissions were set (like in the Program Files, Program Data (sometimes), and App Data hidden folders) which are restrictive as user. so you either need to set the permissions to users when that happens, or simply (esp offline use) set your user account as admin which hides a lot of the mayhem.

many programs (not necessarily DAW) have an option to invert the selection, meaning you select things, then invert the selection to get all the other things and unselect the original ones. typically you find programs with CTRL+A = select all, ALT+CTRL+I = invert select, ALT+CTRL+A = select none, etc etc etc.
that could be very handy. it doesn't seem like there is an option in the selection menu. maybe there is a CAL script which could or does do it.

Per plugin enhanced display scaling for VST plugins.
would be nice if this fixed crashes from PC "compatible" plugins, like, ahem, Softube FET Compressor where the width of the UI is not compatible with the restriction from the PC UI and thus hard crashes CbB (and Sonar etc). the Softube FET works fine in the normal FX slot or in a PC FX chain, but not as a PC FX (which is one of its features). so properly scaling it would (hopefully) allow it to then function as a PC FX directly...

does the arrangement length (e.g. 63 measures) = the time selection?
one thing i do after selecting the tracks, busses, etc to export, set the time range, then add a task for that arrangement. so if arrangement 1 is 75 measures long, i have a task "arrangement 75" and if its 63, then a task called "arrangement 63" etc etc this way, when i select an arrangement, i just select the match export task.
otherwise, you need to check the time select range EACH TIME you export because it will select the longest part of the tracks including automation, and/or revert to the last setting overall.
tasks are your friend 🙂

welcome to the journey...

what recording settings are you using in the preferences?

quick listen sounds like someone really likes Alanis Morrisette 🙂 definitely needs a lot more mixing though - one thing jumps out - the snare is very inconsistent and a lot of other masking and levels getting jumbled.

best bet is to share the song in the Songs section where people tend to go when they want to listen to new stuff (and old stuff) as well as sharing.
or just do as Greg said in 20 seconds before my post... 😉

oh no! not planned obsolescence!! 🤪imagine if you will, companies that "make stuff" give it a lifespan in order to address new things people might want, make new sales, as well as help their partners sell stuff... almost like the automobile industry of yore...

you might check out Musescore instead for more sophisticated notation. then once you have the composition, export as MIDI and import into the DAW and assign proper instruments.
the CW staff view is limited. you oculd check the help file for the latest: https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Notation.01.html

looks like you have a single TTS-1 instance. so freezing one freezes the others... best bet may be to render the audio for each then mute the MIDI for that track.

Melodyne working fine for me as well.
something to check - when you find a number of plugins misbehaving - re-run the redistributables for Cakewalk
this happens to be the cure for when Microsoft Edge and several other companies are busy making your user experience better and embedding all the AI-wares to make sure every keystroke is a lead to a possible solution to the meaning of life, the universe, and everything...

If you're having trouble finding these options or if BandLab's interface has been updated since my last training data in January 2022, I recommend checking BandLab's official documentation or community forums for the most up-to-date information. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions or need further assistance!

pretty much John has the best way.
the presets file content is binary and even if you check in the registry (under the intuitive names of ActiveMovie -> Presets, many of them have content where the name is missing (although a bunch of the commercial ones do have the names), so you'd have to guess at the list of content to determine if it's a plugin you want to keep the preset for.
in this example, i knows its for my Channel Tools plugin as i use custom settings for set the width on stereo instruments.
another option is to copy them all over - they're associated in the registry (under the vst listing) so they'll only be used by those programs anyways.

and you checked the audio level of the guitar before pressing record? https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Recording.19.html very likely the guitar which is further away from the mic, needs additional level on the input.

flat vector graphics will be much less demanding on video cards and/or CPU/GPU. plus sets the stage for other platforms including tablets, macs, and so on. if nothing else, porting new portions of products across platforms becomes easier with a single UI approach. so we could spend the monies to get high performing graphical machines (ala gaming consoles) or stick with the flatter look and use the power for audio and video processing.
as i do a lot of cad design work, i can say that going beyond flat vectors, 3D vector graphics (quality ones, not crappy ones) come with a heavy impact which loads the system screen display cards and likely requires better monitors as well. contemplate a nice looking knob (ahem, get your mind out of the gutter) with tapers and knurls, there can be a hundred vectored triangles and quads to form a single knob in a way that might look as nice as the image based ones we use today. now if you add hundreds of those kinds of objects + materials + animate them...
