I use waves tune. I just put it as an fx on a audiotrack and it works ok.

I do get a message about "no rewire" but ignore it.

I've only used it to read the audio and save it as midi. That works fine.

Well...not perfect but the cleaning part of the midi isn't so bad. 🙂

I'm not sure of this but...could it be that you saved your first project as a template project. Maybe a template take priority over start screen.

Maybe use the control software to use shortcut keys?

Try Grace sampler. It works with CbB and is one of the easiest samplers to understand. (In my opinion).

It seems that the midi echo setting revert to default after Cakewalk update.

At least some. I can't pinpoint when it happened but i'm fuilly sure i had turned it off long time ago and now when i was in preferences to check for other things it was on again.

I don't know if it's on purpose. But it should be said that Roland soundcanvas is not cheap.

I've discovered all my usb audio/midi interface isn't quiet all the time when they are idle.

Sometimes i have to select virtual controller for my inputs to keep them quiet.

I have had softsynths starting to play a note when i open the gui. Latest was a weird sound from the softsynth when i played the song. It's hard to describe like...its own signal get back and chorus up but with wrong timing and phase problems?

I would like the choice of "none" in the input of a track to be locked to that choice. It should then never be able to change to omni or anything else than "none"

It affects midi signals so those signals is what has to be locked out of the track when you need to.

Yup. Don't feel the need to make it an issue. As you say, there's plenty of good and free softsynths around.

I have the muffled tts-1 too.

Maybe the loop construction view could be rewamped to "Audio editor view". Constructing loops would be a tab in that view.

I played around a bit with it yesterday. I made some slices and when i had one slice selected i expected to be able to save that slice. Silly of me. The saved audio was the full audio sample and not the slice bit.

So...audio editing should really have an overwhole.

Well, i'm not going to use that daw until i'm allowed to use a vst softsynth with a nonpro version. Without paying extras for it goes without saying. But i'm just saying that. Now it's said.

It's the companies that have the power. Governments only rules over workers. Get used to it and get used to things not being done because a company can't make a profit on it.

Maybe it only appears when you are using several instances of a plugin? Like 30-40.

PS. I don't have this patches problem.
