Nigel, Hidden, Daryl, Paulo, Hidden, Tim - Thanks for taking the time to comment
Gary - Thanks. NI Reaktor has some strange sounds, well suited for drone-y ambient music. -
Nigel - thanks. There's a wildlife refuge near where I live. Great place for photography.
tom - The Anna's are brave considering their size. They buzz me once in a while when I'm refilling the feeder.
Doug and jack c - Thank you
Daryl - I use a Sony a6500 mirrorless camera and 600mm lens. A tiny camera on a huge lens looks riduculous but it works quite well.
I meant to tone down the cymbal crash but forgot.- 2

Here's another song I finished recently which became the sound track of a short video The video
is a compilation of clips I'd done the last couple of years and if you like birds, you'll like the video, hopefully.
The music doesn't really match the video, in theme or synced to the action. I'm still
learning Davinci Resolve so this project is mostly for practice.
Pied Billed Grebe nest - the babies hang out under the parents' wings.
Eagle nest - adult eagle brings a vole (I think) to the eaglets.
American coot nest building. Reflection is an office building in an industrial area of town.
Bird Feeder - slow motion stuff.
Anna's Hummingbird - it got annoyed with me so it gave me a piece of its mind at the end.- 3

I did wonder if Tiny Tim was too ancient of a pop culture thing to fly, but I guess it works in these parts. 😁

Jack and tom, I appreciate the comments. Thanks
Lynn, wow thanks for the kind words (where do I send the check, ha ha). I truly appreciate them.
Doug, Thanks. Yeah Heavyocity Vocalise has some of the best and useful sounds out there.

I enjoyed this one very much. I listened to some of your other songs on SoundCloud - good stuff! You have talent for ambient, a genre that isn't that easy to do. Looking forward to hearing your next one.

I can hear cinematic as well as orchestral music here. The choral parts are especially outstanding which I assume is Requiem Pro.
Happy birthday. You're right behind me. ☺️

The Darkness.
Not a cheery song. Just trying to portray in music the black mood I get into once in a while.

Amazing grace
Tim, Love what you've done with the song. The Irish whistle (?) hits the emotional spots just right.
The instrument levels could be tamed a bit but not a biggie. Really really nice! -
If Tiny Tim and Yoko Ono had a kid.
You know I'm just kidding.
I don't always comment but I do check in just to make sure Jesse's still Jesse.

That judge Matson is a babe. 😃
Great job on the recording! Enjoyed it. Thanks.- 1

Energetic as all get out.
I thought the bass could be brought up a bit
Great bass line under the voc ~1:50.
Overall great job!- 1

You had me smiling while listening to this David.
Love the playful back and forth of the instruments. -
I guess I'll point out the arp-iness as well because it just sort of stuck out.
It's not bad, just too much - like you're filling in measures with something that fits. And I only said that because that's
something I tend to do.
Anyway, your project is very promising. I enjoyed the listen. -
Nope, don't know anything about this character, but it's a cool song with a catchy melody.

One of my favorite songs and your version is just great. Wow you hit those falsetto notes perfectly.
I'm very impressed.- 2

This was inspired by The Silver Ball from the Pearl album by Brian Eno and Harold Budd, one of my favorite albums.
It doesn't sound anything like the original except for a phrase here and there.
I did this in several takes, mostly improvised and followed with a lot of PRV corrections.
Then I added three accomp tracks - strings, aaaahs and noise fx.

Oh Shenandoah always gets to me. Same with Waltzing Matilda - I think I have it associated with a war movie or something. Gets me blubbery every time.

Never tried recording myself singing Big Band stuff myself.
Any suggestions on what song... I'll give it ago.
Well, you asked. How about Stardust? I think you'd give Nat King Cole a run for the money.

Sometimes less is more and that works very well here. I like the moody Celtic sound that you captured. Very nice.
