I remember a conversation with an IBM employee (family friend) early 90s when MCA was coming in: he was completely befuddled as to why anyone would want to be able to use an existing ISA card (like extra serial ports - remember them?) in a new PS/2 machine. Not really a surprise the architecture didn't actually survive.

Note that enabling/disabling the plug-in via the "System" button causes a big gap in the audio: not when doing individual sections of the plug-in (makes little sense to me but there you have it). The input gain makes things very fizzy and unpleasant. Compressor is nice.

I won't post a link to it as it's gratuitous self-promotion, but I/Xoo do (does?) have a song called Brain Tattoo available online...
Meanwhile, I feel obliged to:

Reviving this thread as the "Hide related VST2 plugins" that @Noel Borthwick mentioned (and which I knew about) does not work for me in latest Sonar build (2024.04-BSP Build 431).
Not sure if it's across the board, or only for some plugins.
Here's an example - I still see the Kilohearts VST2s even though I've got the hide option checked. Is there something I'm missing?
The plug-ins have to be coded to support this too so if they haven't been thusly coded, the CbB can't do the migration/hiding.

An apt follow up to Maiden if you ask me.
