    Audified ReCall

MacOS only... I have only an old iPhone 4 getting dust somewhere
  2. It may be difficult decision for some people. I didn't confirm it yet but it's probably not possible to upgrade Melodyne Essential to v.5 on your Windows 10 computer and keep the version 4 on the other, Windows 7 or 8 computer, because Melodyne 5 is now Windows 10 only. EDIT: oh I didn't notice the post above....
  3. A quick question: if I upgrade my Melodyne 4 Essential to v.5, can I still keep the v.4 on my other Win7 laptop, do they allow that (since v.5 is W10 only)?
  4. Also there should be a simple way of deleting a chosen split.
  5. I remember, in the middle ages of cakewalk like the 90-ties and Cakewalk Pro Audio X, there was a sequence player that utilized standard MIDI files. You could build your own midi files database and create songs with it very quickly, pretty useful. It disappeared later shortly.
  6. There was a key combination in the past in Sonar, not sure what was it exactly (Shift+Spacebar maybe) to delete the last recorded take without even stopping the engine. Is it no more today? Obviously the history wouldn't keep the 'undo' in that case, I assume, but the wave file could be still present in the Audio Data folder until closing Cakewalk.
  7. Thanks. Still a bit too enigmatic for me but worth keeping in mind.
  8. Tend to agree with Brian. Cakewalk is much more tender on eyes and it looks mighty more colorful now than before track colors was introduced. But I get the point that clips should have the color and not the waveforms and with cakewalk's saturation setting set to low it could look better.
  9. Is there a chapter in the manual or maybe old cakewalk knowledge base where it is explained more closely what it does exactly this setting?
  10. Is it possible to make it work the way/or add a new mode that will work this way: - if OFF, when cropping a clip, it will discard the overridden notes entirely on both sides i.e. the notes at the end of the clip will be entirely discarded the same way notes are discarded at the beginning of the clip when cropped -if ON, when cropping the clip start, it will shift the start of the notes along with the clip start the same way notes are shortened at the clip end?
  11. One day... one day I'll buy it, but first... need to buy Kontakt, and that's another $119... sort of a bummer.
  12. True, and I like that it's got some clever way of distinguishing the time selection and lasso selection within the same tool, still would prefer to do both with the left click, for example the time selection as is but use some key modifier to turn it into lasso selection at the point you need it, or make it happen depending on where you start click-dragging (and in prv left-click all the way for me). That's so cheerful that we users differ so much one from another. Funny enough working in the PRV with right mouse click is the biggest PITA for me and I was a real power user before the change, when selecting was still done with the left click in prv. I think that bakers 'spoiled' it around the Sonar X-series, is it 20 years already?? Jeez the time is passing quickly... For me it was similar feeling like when I had to change from right-hand gear change (in a car) to left-hand. The best way to describe it is if someone tried to make me change the gender 😂😂 and it *KEEPS* feeling that way until today so eventually I had to go with an automatic... If only there was an ultimate automatic-mode in Cakewalk (well, we have semi-auto, that's on a good side).
  13. Apologise in advance cause I realize we're getting off topic with this, but... you want to create a melody the dirty quick and simple way so inserting a note *SHOULD* be a single click
  14. Agree on this (and same with clips), don't hold my breath to see it changed, though. But an option to let you choose whether you like to select/lasso with left or right mouse click, in Preferences, would be great. After I finish working in Cakewalk I always end up making a selection and getting a menu pop-up instead in Windows or other application. Always! 🤣
  15. oooh... that make it even more useful... will google some free expansions later, cheers!
  16. Nag screens are fine, as are emails as long I can unsubscribe. What I want to avoid is installing unwanted codec packs, background processes or adware. 129MB seems reasonable.
  17. Is this something I should go for if I want to keep my freshly installed Windows uncluttered and clean from any add-ware like codec packs, 'helpers', ads, any bundled software, etc that could come with this type of software? Or should I look elsewhere? Thx
  18. Are there any free 3rd party MPC expansions? Would Beats open them? Just curious.
  19. sorry... wrong thread <facepalm>
  20. @Bradley Ross in your case Cakewalk may reset modwheel value to zero when you hit stop. If Aria is using modwheel for volume fades then this may be it, try go to Preferences>Project>MIDI and under Other Options uncheck "Zero controllers when play stops" and see if that helps edit... this may be CC#7 Volume and/or CC#11 Expression as well
  21. acha! there's the deviation... for me it only works below the middle of the clip, because I have switched off the clip header so many options, so many ways
  22. I tried now, filled the dropdowns and got the email... not sure filling out dropdowns did the trick though
  23. oh right, the OP was about partial clip gain editing without changing the filter... I'm afraid we'll be not given this option even though cakewalk is almost already there, that's why the new shortcut is in prepare
