    AAS Annual Freebie

It's not here yet but I won't be able to go to bed before I see it in my inbox (they've got time until Xmas before I die from lack of sleep!)
  2. I think I liked the snaps even more than claps!
  3. I know. It's not a reverb, right? (nor a piano!)
  4. I bought it even though I'm religiously avoiding fastspring but I swallowed it with the low intro price.
  5. I checked both the email and website and there's no end date of the intro that I could find
  6. Right, 1 piano in 1 concert hall is okay… but what about all the other pianos in all the other concert halls? Gotta have them too! I'm gonna keep all my 15 grands in my own hall
  7. That's like removing all the other 15 grand pianos from a concert hall leaving just one! Huh..
  8. Dang! Forgot about the extra coupon hiding there in the cart. I was thinking about Largo to looong, now it's gone 😕
  9. Think I got it. Load another instance in place of the other corrupted one and save the project. 🏆🏅🥳
  10. Ditto. To me keeping using and replicating known gear and techniques is like trying to stay within safe path, you know you will achieve the right sound and won't get lost sideways. It's not pioneering. All is up to the engineer, the final sound is what matters (in the listener's opinion).
  11. Waiting for confirmation all is good after update... hopefully! 😁
  12. Here's how I see it. In the previous century pioneers of electrical devices did their best job to put out something new that was then adopted by pioneers in audio engineering. The most talented of them ended up with loving a particular gear for it's particular sound and character. That way some devices got famous across studios, as did some engineer's names. The final sound had been achieved obviously by ear, I only vaguely described the technical way of getting there. To sum up, those devices offered what the talented engineer's ear was after, or the engineers have found ways to crack these devices to achieve desirable sound as happened with 1176 all buttons pressed at once. It was the sound that made these devices well known for, a sound that's sweet for human ear. Since most those engineers shared their techniques with us we can follow them up today. Or you can try achieving same effects your own way, good ear and talent is all it takes. Of modern plugins sonible's smart:comp is a good one. Can it replace all the vintage gear? I don't know, but it's a good one to start with if you're looking for contemporary rather than vintage comps.
  13. To anyone inclined, I read in terms that buying at waves shop must be done in one go, 2 plugins in one transaction. If I'm buying from resellers, can I buy one plugin at one, and second at another reseller then register both? Would that work?
  14. I don't understand what means "reload the Amplitube Software"?
  15. Well, it was bad timing so I've bought it
  16. yes, that is exactly my observation as well, it's displaying the previous last action instead of the last one
  17. NI's foxy catch to quickly draw people into Kontakt 7.
  18. Sadly bad timing for me otherwise I would be in for that price
  19. you think the code could work on the other item, the Oscillator? I realized it would be more useful here but didn't want to hack their site without asking
  20. couldn't find where to type in the code
  21. I can confirm getting it on Win10 too. Can't say if it happens every time or randomly as I developed habit of ignoring the displayed action and just carefully checking everything I undo (typically with keyboard shortcut). Quite possible the issue goes back up to Sonar times. Bit freaking indeed
  22. I think it's fine. In dynamic mode the graph did not updating if I switched 'D' to off (normal), changed some freq/Q then switched back on to dynamic mode. But then I realized I was testing with audio interface turned off, after turning on it's working fine. So probably it does need active audio for it to work correctly, I mean the dynamic part of it. My fault! 🤡
  23. First time opened Total EQ and already found a bug 🙄
  24. Shift+Spacebar for selection auditioning works fine here too, no selection loosing either. I'm about playing single events in the Event List step-by-step, to do this hold down Ctrl+Alt then press Spacebar. Each pressing of Spacebar (while keeping holding down Ctrl+Alt) plays next event in the Even List. Years ago it was simply Ctrl+Spacebar, the bakers had changed it to Ctrl+Alt&Spacebar after the Now Time 'stop on the current position' introduction (ie. no rewind on stop).
  25. Not sure what it is but looks like a Mark II so no complaining at all 😁 I won't be able to check it out anytime soon anyway because it would obviously require Kontakt 7 to install here which I don't, at least for now.
