  1. Heavyocity Punish $49 instead of $199 https://heavyocity.com/product/punish/ Save $150 Edit Not seeing anything yet on 3rd party resellers sites... see next post
  2. SSL got back to me on the 3 for 2 sale... It would be one thing if their web site said that anywhere, but it doesn't. Here's text from their web site regarding the 3 for 2 offer: Cudos to SSL support for getting back to me, must be frustrating having to tell customers that they don't intend to live up to the terms specified on their web site. Any major business would honor such discrepancies. (According to Solid State Logic: Contact Details and Business Profile SSL's revenue is $25 million / at least 126 employees - so yes they are a major business) My shopping cart contained 4 fusion plugins and splashed across the top was the link 'Have you used your 3 for 2 offer?' I emptied most of my shopping cart and may opt to not buy any, I don't like giving my business to companies that don't honor their word.
  3. With these settings Without Auto Gain engaged Vintage Drive gave my mixes a average 3.6db boost. I found the effect of having the plugin in the master buss varied (in a blind test) from not discernable to a mild but pleasant gluing with better definition in drums. Low bass was starting to get a bit wooly which is not surprising with the plugin's settings causing the frequency response below. I didn't test it on a mix with a low sub-bass nor is my system (without subwoofers) capable of hitting those sub frequencies but could see where it might be an issue if your material did. Ending verdict for me... depends on material. On one mix I tried it on it would be a keeper, on the others not worth inserting.
  4. ... be back, doing a listening test with my ears, instead of my eyes...
  5. Judge for yourself... Here's Vintage Drive run through DMF's PluginDoctor
  6. Maybe not the intent, but that's not what their website says. I'm real big into if a business says I gotta follow their stated rules then they need to as well.
  7. 3 for 2 sale is still broken at least for the Fusion plugins - which are the only one's I'm interested in. I see the same things as Zo. I submitted a support ticket.
  8. Not seeing that, all my updates installed with one click... Re Augmented series I have AS 1.2.0.2889 AV 1.1.0.2889 AGP 1.0.0.2839 maybe you missed an earlier update? Or maybe because I bought into the v9 update that included the Augmented series...
  9. Did they fix the 3 for 2 sale yet?
  10. Thank @PavlovsCat for the post. re scripting - I am glad you brought this up. As a sanity check if nothing else. I bought a lot of their stuff back when they were having constants sales (maybe they still are and I've just tuned them out) and I was stuck in Utah taking care of my mom after my dad's heart attack. I didn't have a chance to actually try using what I had bought until I got back home and I then found if frustrating trying to navigate among the various libs and trying to manipulate things into playing what I wanted to hear. TBH I am sorry I invested as much into 8dio as I have. Now that I have invested in other libraries and experienced how things should work I will probably never use most of what I've bought from 8dio.
  11. Yeah my update to 14CE is $499.00 Correction on earlier post, I have 12CE Edit: Too bad I can't get a discount for already having Ozone and the various PA plugins they toss into the deal.
  12. $399.00 Ultimate 11 to Ultimate 14. Think this is best price I've seen so far...
  13. Something for all you horn* little audiophiles out there... Did I actually say that? No, I typed it. Just as bad. I'll get my coat. Too late...
  14. Nice how my coupon codes for Ventro and Novo have gone away for the holidays...
  15. Their customer support is slow but thorough. I had a several issues but they got taken care of. Latest was issue with one of my Zildjian Digital Vault libraries not being carried forward. Took them a while but they fixed it. Understandably frustrating when you want something fixed NOW.
  16. I couldn't get it to work either
  17. It kinda does... Check under your preferences for the folder used for the download location. By default it dumps them in your Downloads folder. I always set it to my archive location... It didn't use to delete them after installs, but may now.
  18. Been waffling over picking up Zero G's Elements for ages. Now it's on sale for $66.46 instead of MSRP $94.95 Wondering if with having Ethera Gold 2.5 and other libraries (Spitfire, EastWest, etc.) if I'd just be covering the same ground?
  19. Black Friday deals are hitting earlier than ever. Looks like developers are afraid that someone else may bleed your BF funds from your wallet before they can. The actual BF this year may be a yawn because the best deals have already hit by then. Still, I'm hoping we see some juicy offerings.
  20. NI Ultimate if price is reasonable enough, otherwise possibly Komplete Heavocity Fury if price hits 50% or cheaper Novum by Tracktion if price is right
  21. Took me a while to find it but here's the direct download link from NI site. Native Access v1.14.1 Here's the webpage if you're running a MAC Native Access 1 Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems To me, the extra features of 3.x aren't worth it if it takes the app over 3 minutes to load.
  22. OMG 3.x is so friggin s-l-o-w to load compared to v1. Arggggggggggggggg I want my v1 back, going to see tomorrow if I have the installer saved somewhere.
