Sorry to bump this old thread. I am new here. I also used BFD 1 in the 2000s and loved it, resolutely sticking with my Windows XP machine until it finally died recently. I am trying to use BFD and my expansions in Cakewalk and having a nightmare of a time doing it. I had to pay the $50 to upgrade to BFD3 in order to use software I bought years ago, so I am not thrilled with that. But even worse, it seems to refuse to work with any of the soundcards I have tried (onboard Realtek, M-Audio Solo, and Volt2). Am I missing something?
