  1. I don't know if they are the same problem you are facing but here are a couple of related forum posts.  Some of the pro channel modules are not installed with the default installation and came from either separate purchases or were released at different times. Does it do this with all pro channel modules?

For example. The Concrete limiter is located here for me.

    "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\ProChannelConcreteLimiter\ProChannelConcreteLimiter_64.dll"

And the others are in the same directory

    C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal.

Make sure you see the dll files in those directories and then go into the VST manager and reset and rescan.

  2. You going to have to give a bit more information. What does it do when you try to save? Do you get an error message of some sort? How are you trying to save? (File->Save, File->Save As etc.)

The documentation provides some good getting started tutorial and there are many getting started videos that could help you.

  3. Do you have lots of controller data showing or many take lanes with small clips? Two places I look to when things get slow to scroll.

According to the documentation the sample rate of imported files is converted to the project sample rate.

It appears that you can have files with different bit depths in the project, but there is a setting to set the bit depth of imported audio

If your project is at 16/44.1K then I would export directly to 24 bits. Internally Cakewalk is using 32 or 64 bit floats. So if it converts the floats to 16 bit and then exports to 24 then it doesn't matter the order you export in. If it goes directly from the float to 24 then a direct export to 24 bits would be recommended.

  5. Have you marked the  audio clips as groove clips or done audio snap on the audio?  Audio files don't automatically follow tempo changes unless you have marked them as being groove clips. At least that is my experience.

You can also use "Audio Snap" on an audio file to follow tempo.  Here is a forum thread about a similar issue.
