I'm using the vst sampler TX16w (free version). It's supposed to be able to record samples directly into the sampler from a mic or other audio input, but I haven't been able to achieve this. The FAQ from the plugin website says this: Any ideas on how to do this? there's no option for audio input on the instrument track, only MIDI input.

OK, I fixed it by switching to\he mixer to DAW mode, and I was able to assign my own button functions by switching from SMC -master to SMC-private on the device list (2 different devices came up)

Hi, I just hooked up a new SMC-Mixer to Cakewalk, using it as a Mackie controller surface. The knobs and sliders all work as expected, but the buttons, when assigned as remote controls, only ever turn things off, never back on. Anyone have any ideas? I've been searching for a while with no answers. Thanks.
