Thanks Lynn, but it wasn't the opinion of one person. I just got to thinking that this is one time I might have been baring my soul a bit too much and it was a turn off to many of these people. Since more people are asking for it to be re-posted, I'll put it back. 🙂 JB

I love it! Beautiful song and arrangement. Pretty chorus. Love your vocal work. I understand part of your lyrics but not many, but that doesn't matter. A great tune is universal. Nice work on the video too. Thanks for your "thumbs up" on my new song too. 🙂John B

Man, this is nice, Mark. I've heard of the Cajon drum. I loved the way Santana used it in their earlier records, but you take it to a different approach and the cello is amazing. 🙂John B

@jack c.So sorry you don't like the song, Jack, but thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. My bass lines tend to be melodic. 🙂 🙂John B.

Very enjoyable. The Doors-style organ is fantastic! Also, love your lead guitar work and vocal effects. 🙂John B

All of my life I felt that it was my responsibility to make the people closest to me happy 24/7/365. If they weren't, for whatever reason, I've felt that it was my fault and I was letting them down, even if their depression had nothing to do with me. I think my wife has finally convinced me that It's not always my fault. https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandid=1058168 🙂John B

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'm sending the Rode back because it's no better than the Apex 435 I already have. I thought I'd try it mostly because Sweetwater ironically allows a 30 day refund on mics. I find that odd, especially given the current situation, but they do. 😃 John B

Thanks, David. 🙂 John B

Parts of it sound like it could very easily fit into a type of adventure movie soundtrack like Batman or a Terminator type of opening or closing theme. It's a very effective piece. 🙂 John B

@bjornpdx Thanks! See! Some of my stuff does rhyme. 😉 @Old Joad Glad to hear from you. Thanks! @Wookiee Thanks so much, Mr. Furrypaws for your feedback and being an extra set of "ears". Sometimes I do wonder what my stuff sounds like on other people's setups. Stay safe and healthy, all! 🙂John B

This used to be my drum machine. I gave it to Josh, who will find something better for it than what it did sitting in my basement. 🙂John B

I ordered a Rode NT1A and it should get here in a few days. Should I have ordered an NT1 instead? I know there are several people here who use Rode mics. My Avantone CV 12 that I've been using since 2015 doesn't seem to give me what I want and I'm thinking of selling it. I have an old (cheap) Apex condenser that I recently dug up that sounds better and I'm hoping the Rode will finally be the mic that "loves my voice". 🙂John B

Maybe you'll like it & maybe you won't but here it is. Using Toontrack EZ Keys Upright piano and Native instruments Strummed acoustic guitar among all the other usual samples. https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14211197 🙂 John B

Lovely! I put my headphones on, laid back and closed my eyes and it took me to a very nice place for a few moments. Reminds me of some old Windham Hill music, which I love. 🙂 John B
