  1. @Music Software Deals Here > https://www.thomannmusic.com/hotdeals_GF_software.html Tip: if there is a "Show More" button at the bottom of a category list, you need to keep clicking them until the full list is shown. The Virtual Instruments and Audio Effects categories seem to have the longest lists.
  2. Synapse Audio seems to be missing from the manufacturers list. They sell direct, as well as through Thomann Music, which also is missing from the stores list. https://www.thomannmusic.com/synapse_audio_the_legend.htm
  3. EZBass 2? No mention of that on Toontrack's site ... https://www.toontrack.com/product/ezbass/
  4. Yes, you can use them! But they remain as v1 presets, that cannot be accessed via the new v2 editor. But the song remains the same! Only v2 presets can take full advantage of the improved sound design features in the v2 GUI.
  5. I think that I am headed towards prioritizing the installation of samples for real world sounds that are not yet effectively synthesized, or modeled. Disk space is an issue if everything that you have is sampled... Just saying... On the upside, some of the Syntronik synths sound very good! So that's why I still have Syntronik Deluxe installed.
  6. The executors of your estate are going to have a field day! 😉
  7. I believe that I could live with just 3 of the new synths for a total of $34.99, and call it a day...
  8. Patience, grasshopper... 😉
  9. I think that is a fair question. I have the full Syntronik 1 Deluxe, and now own two Syntronik 2 instruments (V-80 & J-60) which are also included as v1 editions in my Syntronik 1 collection. So when I browse these two instruments in Syntronik 2 CS, I am able to select for Syntronik 2 presets only. The list of v2 presets for them seems a bit skimpy to me... only 38 v2 presets for the V-80, and 40 v2 presets for the J-60. Now I am wondering if only the 11 NEW instruments have entirely all v2 presets... 🤨
  10. I'll wait on the $29 deal!
  11. I could see grabbing a few of them, particularly the Oberheim Matrix-12, the Korg DW-8000, and the Waldorf Microwave I got the Syntronik 2 V-80 (Yamaha CS-80) and the Syntronik 2 J-60 (Roland Juno 60) for free, and they sound great! The J-60 is available for free from Computer Music #307, May 2022. The Syntronik 2 V-80 was a freebie for 2 weeks, earlier this year at Audio Plugin Deals (expired).
  12. I think it is fairly clear now that AIR has no intention of ever updating their "legacy" synths. Buy them "as-is" if you want to. The new line of synths seem to have scraped a few bits from the older synths, using a new synth engine and interfaces.
  13. Bapu still asleep... 😉
  14. And since Syntronik 2 MAX will take 200GB of disk space, maybe a better option would be to just cherry pick your Syntronik favorites, rather than getting them all?
  15. Since you can use up to 30% ($15) in Jam Points, the price of entry now for buy 1, get 2 free is $34.99.
  16. V1 synths do not get "upgraded". The v2 synths get added. So you have to get MAX to have all v2.
  17. I think that may be a key point that many folks do not realize. A good gaming machine does not automatically mean a good DAW machine. But it can likely be wrangled into proper DAW form with a bit of care. Stable real time audio processing is a bit more tricky than FPS in games, or even video editing.
  18. OK, wow I had never seen that! Not mentioned in the manual. Running Voltage Core here, so many modules that I have not even tried yet, LOL! I also have the Vintage Voice modules bundle that allow you to insert the DCO-60 (Juno-106) and the SynthVoice (ARP 2600) into VM as complete instruments, which is pretty cool. But being able to use any plugin almost seems like cheating. Ha!
  19. Wait, say what? I have Voltage Modular and wasn't aware that it could host VST plugins. For me it's just the rack modules that are programmed to work in VM...
  20. There are also several Download Managers that I recall tend to "cache" your downloads until you manually push a button to clear them out. That can also add up. Starting with: Acustica Aquarius Toontrack Product Manager Waves Central
  21. @User 905133All LABS instruments are definitely free to download and use, for personal or professional use, once you sign up for a Spitfire Audio account. No catches, other than a few hoops to jump though involving signing up & installing the Spitfire Audio app, which is a download manager that you will use to access any Spitfire libraries you may have purchased, plus the free LABS instruments. From the LABS FAQ: I have them all, and it didn't cost anything. IMO, one of the greatest "FREE" deals around these days! John "Skippy" Lehmkul of PluginGuru has even published a (free) Unified patch library to use with LABS in Unify (not free). Highly recommended!
