That's wrong!!! LOL!!

The neck on it is much thinner than I thought it would be. Feels really good all the way up and down the neck. Sound is fantastic. I wasn't expecting such a rich and bright sound. Surprisingly the tremolo bar works really well so far. I mean you can hear the effect of it and it hasn't fallen out of tune or any strings getting stuck or "flexing". The pics really doesn't do the color justice. Digital cameras don't do red well. But it is an excellent cherry red. I haven't really got to bond with it yet. That will come in a day or two. I am extremely pleased at the quality that I have gotten from my two Epiphone's. I only have one small complaint with both of them is the frets are not polished enough for my taste. Very small detail!! Other than that, both guitar's frets are smooth on the edge and all sit flat up against the fretboard. Nut is gauged for the size stings on them and don't stick or bind. Binding on both guitars is really good. Smooth and well finished. @Rain I also like the tuner heads too. They do look good.

I was playing my new Epiphone last night. When I came downstairs the wife asked me how many guitars I had. I had to stop and think, then count.... Yeah, I got too many

I did too. I had several things in my cart on another site and just realized, I really don't need this. What am I going to use it for? Closed the page. Went on surfing.

That sounded like a good gig. How did you get out of your station?!!!

Yes, that's a great big WOW!! Man.... that was awesome.

Yep. I have been playing for many years. Your strumming varies and give the part life. Thanks for the heads up on the Session stuff.

Oh yes... ride that pony!! Or should I say, spaceship!!!

Wow Keni!! What wonderful news. And I am like you, I think you've already won just by being in the running!! Good luck my friend

That's the best price I have seen on those in a good while. I might start getting them again.

What kind is that Larry. That's a good deal on Control
-
For me it would be $158... I haven't bought into the Bias eco world. So that would be my admission price. Likely not gonna happen. That said, that ain't for me. I am just not in need of that much heavy. The names of the amps... I'll just leave that one alone. However, it looks damn good. I gotta say that. At least the product page did!! Some of those pedals could stand on their own.

Grem replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I grabbed the update for the Song Key @ $3, and picked up the Channel Strip also. Already had the Total EQ. -

What Recording Software Will You Be Upgrading?
Grem replied to Tim Smith's topic in The Coffee House
At first I got a used RME Fireface 400. Rock solid and great preamps. Next I stepped up to a UAD Apollo. The USB at first, and now the Thunderbolt 3. Being able to slip a plugin into the Unison slot of the Apollo has changed the way I record and mix. I can put a SSL, a Neve, API, or Helios in the Unison slot, each one sounds different and it gives my trks something I never knew I missed. Dimension! I find that my vocals are much more easily controllable in a mix. My guitar has something about it that helps it sit in a mix better. My Yamaha bass even sounds better going through the Apollo direct to the trk. Getting a true quality preamp, with the ability to change the sound/reaction according to what I put in the Unison slot, gives me so many options. And to be honest, I got my first Apollo with the sole intention of just using it for giving the singer some good reverb to sing with when doing takes. You know, with Zero latency. Then I started really using it and was just floored. I just couldn't believe how good and different each console strip or amp sounded. And playing with zero latency is fabulous. : ) It's like I am really recording in a real studio. RME has better drivers. I still think they make the best most stable drivers out there. I don't know how their fx are with the newer units. But my old Fireface 400 (which I wish I would have never sold!!) didn't have any fx with it. But it was still worth every bit of the $500 I paid for it. That was the most I ever spent on a Audio Interface. Until I got the first Apollo. I got it used for $600. I bought the Apollo I have now brand new. -

Can't stress this enough. I went for years with $100 audio interfaces. When I finally got a good one, it was like night and day. And the funny thing is when I was younger I would buy my guitars and amps with the thought of get the best I could afford. Why? You get what you pay for!! Somehow that didn't occur to me till much latter in the DAW game!! As far as upgrading my DAW I always keep CW updated when they come out with a new version. They have been really exceptional with what the CW team has been doing since the Roland/Gibson fiasco. I also keep Reaper up to date. I also have SO, but I wait till the sales to upgrade it. I own no other DAW. I keep reaching for CW because when I try to do something in another DAW I get frustrated and just say the heck with it and go back to CW because I know it so well. I do like some of the things in Reaper and SO though. They keep drawing me backin!! -
What you thinking about this morning Bapu? I got an orange USB cable (old school) in a jar with a lead pencil next to a box of large paper clips.

In Praise of Companies That Celebrate Black Friday All Year Round (Not a Deal)
Grem replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals
Last few BF did not excite me to really buy anything. I really don't remember what I got last BF. It wasn't much. Back when BF meant something I would save a load of money to spend and get stuff I waited on. But after a few years of "you got to be kidding, right?" prices I have fallen out of the BF excitement. Just ain't worth it. If I see something and I want it, I will get it. That said, I am waiting till NI puts Komplte on sale to upgrade!! LOL!! -
Exactly. I have purchased some cables from them but quickly learned these are not stage worthy. I got a bunch of little cables for the phone output to car audio receivers, but I won't get stuff I need to depend on from them. I get my stuff from SWeetwater also. As far as Amazon goes, I quit Prime because I found a better deal. Just that simple. Instead of paying them over $130 a year for my membership, I found a better deal with Walmart Plus. I get discounted gas, they deliver my groceries for free to my home, or ship it to me if it's not in my local store. Man the joy of sitting at work and ordering groceries, having them deliver it, that, that, that's almost no-brainer territory!!! (I was gonna say priceless, but it ain't that good!!)
