    EZkeys2 !!!!!

I completely missed that thread!! Why did he respond to that thread here? Because it got closed? Stick with me, I am teachable!!

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

Maybe I am misunderstanding... I did not get, in any of Bapu's posts, that he was trying to sell anything. He only talked about prices he paid. IDK...

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

I read on the TT EZK2 web page that you can purchase EZK1 now and get free upgrade to EZK2. What I would check on first is if that purchase has to be made through TT. And would EZK1 purchases from third parties would qualify for the free upgrade.

    EZkeys2 !!!!!

Well ya'll knew I would order this!! Been waiting too long for all these new features!! This gonna be nice
  6. I meant I would try them out, use them, buy sample libraries from them(?) maybe third parties. I don't think it will stay free. I am thinking they will ( or should) adapt a model like Reaper. Use it with nag screen till you can afford it. Reaper seems to be able to thrive off of that, why couldn't others? Especially something as widely used as a sampler.
  7. For freetakt? I think the keyword is "free"?
  8. Good one!! Me too. And would support them when that time comes. I guess that's what I was really trying to say. Bravo to them for even trying.
  9. I haven't seen any. Like you said, I wouldn't notice until some dev started offering it. Which is where I am. Haven't seen any of the major players offer it yet. If even one would offer it, that's major. My concerns here are licensing. What are libraries going to be protected with? Will Freetack offer something that would encourage devs to code for that platform? We will see.
  10. This reminds me of the free plugins format. Since it's intro, haven't heard much about it. So this may make a big splash and then....
  11. If and when I go back to playing out again, this may be the route I go. Just simplifies things so much. Yep.
  12. @Bapu first real amp I had was a Sunn. It was a new style of amps called C-Mos. Had no idea what that meant. But I kept blowing the speakers in it till I put some JBL D12's in it. It had two separate channels (real rare back in the day) and I could turn both channels on at the same time!! Loud as.....
  13. Yes indeed. I got a Egnator cab with a unknown speaker in it and it sounds great too. It sounds like a V30. But I haven't taken it out to look.
  14. Not many. They tour without their own amps and cabs nowadays. They mostly use an phone.
  15. Yeah, you would always regret not putting in the time and effort for him, and for yourself. Thanks for the advice. I pretty much realized that yesterday when I opened the box that it would mostly be a finishing job. And I am good with that. When I looked at the body yesterday I saw a lot of pore holes. And I wasn't sure I would be able to fill them in with just TruOil. But re-reading you first thread from 2021 got my spirit back up and I am holding out hope that I will be able to use TruOil. I will be going to hardware store and picking up some sanding paper to start the project!! I will have a lot of sanding to do to the neck to get it where I want it. I want to leave it unfinished with a lite sealer on it. Right now it's just too rough.
  16. Yeah I went back and reviewed your first post back in 2021 and saw that you took some time to get it where you wanted it. : ) Did you keep the Super Distortion pup in it?
  17. Update: Recieved the kit. Just letting everyone know the body has holes drilled in it and so does the neck!! Despite what Stewmac Tech told me, both have holes already drilled. So.... we will see at a later date how they really line up. Also, the tremolo was already screwed in. With all six screws. I am thinking that they already strung the guitar and lined up the neck before they drilled the holes in the neck. At least that's what I am hoping. The body is more square around the top part of the body than I think it should be. I may have to cut some of that out. It's also lighter (weight wise) than I expected. The neck will definitely need work. It is unplayable as it is. Sharp fret ends that need to be filed. I mean I would not advise anyone to play it as is. You would likely cut yourself. They are that bad. The back of the neck will need lots of sanding or a finish put on it. It's also rough. It's in an unfinished state. So playing would be hampered. Not complaining. This is what I signed up for. Just giving some hands on details of the kit I received in case anyone reading this wants that info.
  18. I did not listen. I have heard her scream before. I have no desire to hear it again.
  19. I thought it was the guy that came up with Waves "subscription plan". L= Loser
  20. Wow. When I found out that they were going subscription, I couldn't believe it. I mean the way it was done was chitty. Now this quick reversal is just as unbelievable. I still love my Abbey Road stuff. I still love all my Waves stuff. I just don't know what to think about this. Man... wtf just happen!!!?
  21. Update: Last one for this thread. Ordered the S-Style kit last night . Will be here in a few days. I plan on doing this one slowly. Mostly so I don't mess anything up, but also to try and teach myself some patience's when doing this type of work.
