  1. That's a G&L Legacy 1993. All original. I love it. That white one is a Fender Squire made in Indonesia. But somebody did some real good work on it. Frets seem like they are polished. Just really buttery smooth and all the ends are smooth. It's also got a great tremolo on it that 's not the standard tremolo you see on Fender Squires. Also, the back of the neck is sanded down to a really silky smooth finish. Almost like a non-finished neck, but smoother. Inside the electronics compartment and all pickup cavities it's painted with some kind of black powder coated stuff. And finally there is the pickups and the pickguard themselves. Seymour Duncan double coils in the neck and bridge and single coil in the middle. The pick guard is 5 layered mother of pearl finish that looks fantastic. I paid $200 for that guitar!! Yep, unbelievable!! I went to a GC in Baton Rouge, wanted to try an amp, Mesa Mini Rec, and they told me to pick a guitar, I picked that one because of the Maple Neck. And when I started playing it I realized real quick there was something about that guitar. I asked how much and was shocked when he said $200. I told him write it up. He said the amp too? I said, "I don't know about the amp. Haven't made my mind up on that yet. But I ain't leaving here without this guitar!" One of the best purchases I have ever made from GC!!
  2. I picked this and Thorn up together and used my voucher. Around $36 each. Not bad. I am happy. But my email said $49 too.
  3. When I read your post I was like WT.......F? Then I saw this at the bottom, went back and re-read the stuff above it, and yep..... it was exactly as you described it!! LOL! : )
  4. Agreed, the whole kit was not to my liking. But when he was doing it I thought exactly like he did, I could put this on a snare during a big build up!! Sounded great on that Rhodes, or what was it? The piano part.
  5. Well Billy did call them band mates. SO I guess that's where they got it from. Must have been a mutual agreement. Must be a hell of a way to find out your not a part of it anymore when they don't tell you nothing. You find out from something else, like radio, trade mag, that your "Band Mate" is going on the road to support their new album. You don't get fired, you just don't get a call. Any call. Not a thank you, kiss my a$$, nothing. Any band I was in, they at least would tell me, don't come to practice anymore!!
  6. Bring it! I am willing to at least look!! And wonder! And maybe even partake! Why does a lion eat meat? It's not thinking of the animal it's taking down other than a way to survive. Or am I simplifying/justifying my own appetite?
  7. They haven't shut it down yet! So we must be doing something right!! It's just that none of us can figure out what it is!! LOL : ) I knew you would John. Just don't forget where you came from when you do arrive!!
  8. Revolutionary indeed!! I would load TH-U on my surface, then profile all my boogies, with different cabs for all of them, and my Carvin amp, and my Crate. Then bring that to a gig! Yep, that would be worth the full price if $200!
  9. You must keep striving for your goal!! : ) That hasn't stopped others!! Join in the fun!!
  10. Just listened to the first part and I have to agree with both posts above. Let it go, it's finished! : ) At the chorus now and my opinion has only improved. Guitar solo now. Fits in well. Listening to finish. Yep let this one go. It's baked! Great harmony at the end.
  11. I would have to agree with everything Bob said LT. Really good video. I never knew it was a composite. Looked all good to me. Loved the song. That was a long holler there at the end!! You did that for real? Must not ever smoked! : )
  12. I guess you took the BL version down. 'Cause all I was able to hear was the SC version and that wasn't bad at all. Thought you did it justice. Great playing, good performances, and singing was done well.
  13. Great video Chandler. I bought it outright without trying it out or hearing it. Mostly because I like DT stuff and I knew Melda would do it right. Your video showed me exactly that.
  14. Naw, that was Blue Roid. His bandmates said he was a pain in the ..... : )
  15. I am sure that John will help you out. If he doesn't know anyone in your area, he can help you learn where to look for them. Good luck in your journey Voyager.
  16. Yeah I watched Hired Gun too. In fact, as the credits rolled ( yes I read them!) I saw that Jason had a lot to do with the filming, and I remember reading something about this a while back and thinking "I want to watch that!" Well I did. It was an eye opener. Good thing I didn't make it. I would have been eat up and thrown up against the wall. A lot!! Because I am hard headed and keep doing the same thing expecting..... I also have a DVD of a film new film made last year that I haven't had a chance to watch yet. Sidemen. About the side men that played with the great blues players we all know.
  17. Nope! And his wife wouldn't even give him $1 for it!!! : )
  18. I did the same thing on my wall. Works great. Always have my main guitars at hand.
  19. No. Not locked yet! Thanks again John.
