Here here Ed.  I lost my fav synth too when Alchemy went Mac only and a lot of libraries, too.  Where do I go to get my investment back?  Maybe Cakewalk should pay since that was the DAW I was using.  Yea, that’s the ticket.

Me too on the libraries I brought.   Talking about it now has me thinking I could use some tissue myself ;)

I bought SonarXL back in 2006, $500 plus all the updates up to SonarX2 producer, and then a slap on my face, the darn thing went free, I lost my serial # for SonarX2, trying to get the platinum version, but the page was not found anymore, my question is ; Would they honor my previous orders? they are going to use the same format, names, etc. Do we have any rights to claim about this?

No you have no Rights for a claim.   Such is life.  Apple took over camel audio alchemy and made it MAC only and so all the money I invested in it is gone for Windows updates etc...

I like it!  I marked improvement over 9, which was still good.

I like to use it on my laptop  so I'm looking forward to check out V10  but after the dust settles

As for me, I have considerably less income than I did when I was into purchasing  new versions of Cakewalk/SONAR.   Depending on the pricing structure, I might not be able to afford either of the new products.  So, I do understand where people are coming from.

Yep only so much money to go around and so I shall wait and see what the new Cakewalk offers to me as a consumer.

PS. Even if you don't need the vector update, it's represents something very positive from Bandlab: This is the type of update you do when you have long term plans for a product. It bodes well for the future! Let's help the team have a successful launch, and SONAR can grow as the userbase does!

Absolutely!   Plus I can relate to the eyesight not being what it use to be and I never had good eyesight to begin with.

    It already is :-P

Let's not turn this into a Intel vs AMD thread like the tech forums 😆

Now the waiting game to check out your hard work.   Meanwhile I have Mixcraft Pro Audio 10 to download and play with on my laptop :D
