13-May-2019: Voxengo SPAN version 3.3 update is now available for download. SPAN is a free real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plugin for professional music and audio production applications. For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality. SPAN is available in AudioUnit, AAX, VST and VST3 plug-in formats (including native 64-bit support), for macOS, and Windows computers.
List of changes in version 3.3:
Implemented EBU-R128 "LUFS" and "LU" metering modes.
Implemented "True Peak" peak level and clippings detection.
SPAN provides you with a very flexible “mode” system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum's visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination.
SPAN also features output level metering with adjustable ballistics and integration time, K-system metering (including calibration K-system metering). SPAN displays level metering statistics, headroom estimation and clipping detection. Correlation metering is available as well.
SPAN features:
Output signal power statistics
Spectrum smoothing
User interface window resizing
Clipping statistics
Correlation meter
EBU R128 LUFS/LU metering
K-metering
Stereo and multi-channel analysis
Mid/side analysis
Internal channel routing
Channel grouping
Preset manager
Undo/redo history
A/B comparisons
Contextual hint messages
All sample rates support
Retina and HighDPI support

I agree. Like my PSP stuff. Old time comp is really sweet. Like their leslie sim too, but it hits the CPU hard.
My favorite is the BussPressor.
I will use it on the master buss when the particular song will benefit from it (usually Rock music). I set it for 50/50 wet/dry (using my ears), attack set at 30 to 100mS to retain the initial transients, release set 100 to 200 mS depending on song style and rhythm.

No no! Don't do it until it is too late 😨
There is something about PSP plugins that makes them unique: they sound good. They sound good.
I like the simple GUI too.

This is a great reverb unit. One of my favs
Oh Heck! I was trying to hold off getting any more reverb plugs. Now I'm gonna have to demo it! 😆

Maybe you accidently entered Offset Mode?
-
Thanks. I'll keep watching.
As Larry says, the 50% off sale with the extra discounters will put it at around $70.
-
That puts my upgrade price from Studio One Pro 3 to Studio One Pro 4 at $104.96.
Not a bad price but I am wondering if there is a better upgrade deal somewhere else online?

22-Apr-2019: Voxengo is happy to release version 2.6 of its Tube Amp plugin. Tube Amp is a free audio effect plug-in for professional music production applications that applies asymmetric tube triode overdrive usually found in single-tube microphone pre-amp boxes. The sound this plug-in produces varies from a mild “warm” overdrive to a fuzzy distortion. Tube Amp is available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST and VST3 plugin formats (including native 64-bit support), for macOS (v10.7 and later), and Windows computers.
Changes in version 2.6:
Added ProTools 12+ AAX64 support.
Made the user interface scale switchable without host reload.
Added 90%, 110%, 150%, 175% visual scales.
Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows.
15% lower CPU usage on AVX2-capable processors (in 64-bit mode).
Tube Amp also includes a -6 dB/oct low-pass filter that is built-in into plug-in’s tube/valve modeling equation, and can be used to imitate a lower-quality tube triode. Beside that, Tube Amp has a switchable output saturation stage which can be used to additionally overdrive the output signal.
Tube Amp features all standard advanced Voxengo plug-in features like full multichannel operation, channel routing, built-in oversampling and other functions.
Tube Amp features:
Asymmetric tube triode overdrive
Two processing modes
Additional output saturation stage
Stereo and multi-channel processing
Internal channel routing
Channel grouping
Mid/side processing
Up to 8x oversampling
64-bit floating point processing
Preset manager
Undo/redo history
A/B comparisons
Contextual hint messages
All sample rates support
Zero processing latency
Retina and HighDPI support

I got the "Sonivox Orchestral Companion - Strings" for free:
It's on sale for $9.99 and I used 999 points
I think this one is free once in a while so no big deal. Plus it's a teaser to get you to upgrade to the full version.
-
When Sony was in charge the update price would go to $129 once a year.
It may or may not happen with Magix (?)
Yeah, I just want to get rid of the 32 bit plugs. SF11 is the only program I have that still needs them. -
$199.00 for the upgrade. I'll wait until it drops to $129 or so.

Anyone actually use this thing? The one knob-pumper. (??)
I have never used it to pump the entire mix...
I have used it to slightly pump boring keyboard pads and cheesy accordion sounds to make them more interesting in the mix.
BTW, it is still available today on the 12th.

You get a free upgrade to 13 if you buy 12 right now Mike!
Seems too good to be true.
I know if you purchase it from Magix for $199.00 you get the free SFP13 update.
Are you sure that we get the free SFP13 update if we purchase it from Reverb for the $99.50 sale price?
