its finally installed..... time for sleep... i got hardly any sleep yesterday and today will be the same but its finally installed. thanks to everyone who helped out. im sure i will have more questions as i start using the program. tomorrow should be fun

its finally installed !!! that was like longest cakewalk download of all time. i think im in the record books now.

almost 5 am and its still downloading. .....

thanks for the input. i really dont need any of those extra things. i already bought a bunch of midi studio instruments and i never try to use melodyne. I really dont need any of the extra fluff but maybe some of the studio instruments might be of use. im not sure what will happen if i hit stop additional file install. i can install the core program if i stop additional files or i have to start all over from beginning again? Ok so quick downloading question - a few times now the "downloading additional files" has made it all the way through til the green line gets to the end and then a new one starts over downloading. So that indicates that a group or set of info/files was downloaded and now another new set or group of info/files is being downloaded? this will continue until all the info/files has been downloaded since it might be a large amount? hopefully thats whats going on and im making progress no matter how slow for now. As long as the wifi doesnt get kicked off then i should be downloading the info/files set/batch by set/batch until its all downloaded correct?? Thanks

im not sure if this will ever download. whenever it gets to the "downloading additional files" it goes until my wifi gets kicked off and then i have to start all over again. Still havent gotten my laptop to download cbb. this isnt even worth it

sonar x3 is already installed on both desktop and laptop. I am installing CbB on laptop right now. I will install CbB on desktop tomorrow. So therefore the most recent product is being installed last. I havent even started or worked on any projects in sonar x3 so there should be no conflict with a project being used in both programs.

so throw CbB on Win 7 Desktop and try it out???

i just noticed that windows 8 and higher is needed. my laptop is windows 10 but my desktop is windows 7. for my windows 7 desktop should i just keep sonar x3 and use that for small minimal projects on that computer then?? please let me know your opinion... I wont be doing anything super modern or robot sounding. Just taking tracks from my Tascam 2488 or Zoom r8 and sending them into sonar x3 for mixing and editing. volume mixing, panning, compression, saturation, eq, limiting... basic stuff like that. sometimes add a few extra guitars and using the guitar plugins. i think sonar x3 can handle that fine for my windows 7 desktop??? let me know what u guys think. For my Windows 10 Laptop i am putting CbB on for sure. Thanks

yes i am using windows 10. i will try your method when I wake up. Ive been up all night trying to update laptop and then download CbB so I havent been to sleep yet and havent gotten anything accomplished..... Thank you for your suggestion

i was logged in when downloading. I was logged into the account I am logged into right now. Thats the correct way to do it or no?

i download all the way to the end and then an error message appears. included is the download tab of my computer with the message i recieved when trying to download CbB... Let me know if this helps...

I cant seem to get it to download. It will keep saying I dont have permission
