  1. Thank you but that doesn't help. What I want is to immediately focus on the selected track when i switch from track view to piano roll. Can this be done by selecting a clip and pressing D or do I always have to follow: Double click the clip and then shift+D for full screen? 2 goals here: getting to full screen and to the data of the specific track quickly
  2. Hi. I'm new to bandlab but not to cakewalk, kept working with Sonar 8.5 for a long time. I'm trying to get used to the new shortcuts to move between track view and piano roll. If I double click the midi clip I get to docked Piano roll and need to press shift+D as well to get to full screen view When full screen is the previous setting I choose a midi clip again while in track view and press simply D and here is what happens: I see previous midi tracks as well as the one I've selected. And then I need to go to tracks tab and choose "Clear Track Selection" so I can focus to that particular track. Is there a setting I'm missing here and I see the other unwanted midi data? I just want to see the selected midi track data Needless to say that by double clicking a midi clip in Sonar i would get a full screen Piano Roll of the selected track without any further moves to achieve that and also no matter where the now time was it would get straight to that clip's time Thank you in advance
  3. Weather tracks were empty or not, it wasn't a problem in Sonar 8,5 for example. Delete Hole meant shift by whole measures no matter what. It's the measure you want to get rid off and choose what happens to events accordingly. Not all tracks have data at the same time, this is not ok I just switched a two months ago and the workflow shows that in Bandlab you need 1 or 2 steps more to get what you want. Not very happy about it
  4. I think the problem happens when you don't have a separate midi track for each output. I thought my copies would be valid with hidden midi data copied as well. I will try to duplicate though my main concern is clips. I still have some HDD drives streaming audio and loading/unloading time can be frustrating
  5. While it is convenient, when adding kontakt for example, to use the advanced dialog "Instrument Track Per Output" I have 2 issues. 1) It takes a lot of time to freeze or unfreeze when the tracks are more than 3 or 4 2) Coping these frozen tracks/clips (that appear only as audio) doesn't include the midi file so when I unfreeze my copied parts disappear. Is there a solution for that ? Unfreezing takes also a lot of time so I would like to avoid it. I do this from the Add Track menu and simple instrument tracks are created. I didn't use this method before
