Hoping Melda start their year-end/Christmas sale soon. It's already a touch later than years past. I'm ready for BF-redux.
Boyfriend Redux?

I hate to say it, but that operation was pretty obvious. CbB doesn't have an internal sampler (yet), which is why I suggested learning Kontakt or a similar sampler. Very powerful tool.
Have fun!
I'm so very glad you did tell me! I have both and I don't want to buy CuBase just to do what she said to do!

Definitely sounds like the syllable "da" or maybe "dah" with some serious editing and then spread across the octaves in any sampler. I do this in Kontakt all the time.
My friend asked her in a live stream, and she said she used CuBase DAW's internal sampler to chop the sound from her voice, then played it across MIDI notes.

[Stupid side comment, since this has already been answered with the sampler option] People don't get how easy they have it these days. In 1984 the Emulator II was ~$8K, with not one but TWO 5.25" floppy drives! The sampler made famous by Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Wow... floppy disks... haven't see those since Atari 130XE!

Try this (using Time Machine) at about 2:40. Try to limit your range to +/- 1 octave from the root of the sample otherwise it will get really granular and ugly.

The deets are covered well in the Kontakt User Manual.
Wow! Didn't know that existed. Thank you!

Do you have a example video, please?
I own Kontakt full 5 & 7.

PS: Maya Clars - Diagonal of Love (Official Audio)
Why not contact the artist and ask her?
Also, she has a video channel with some videos that seem to talk about her production techniques. Not sure if she has one that describes the song you are interested in or if she uses the technique in any of the production oriented videos she has posted. Who knows--maybe she would be inspired to do another video if you ask.
I took a stab at asking. We'll see if she responses.. Not sure if I should go as far as email or not. Hate to over do it, especially when I've got y'all Smart guys and gals 🥰

Listen to the sound effect starting at 2:03 for
please let me know, if you know, how to re-create that sound effect. Thanks!
If there's a plugin that does this or you know up to create it.
Many thanks in advance!

If I remember well I bought it for $12 @ Thomann. It has an interesting eq section where you can focus the compression in a selected band. I woud wait for a better offer or save for SSL essentials offer.
Ahhh... I've got Waves Audio Studio Rack that lets me turn any plugin into both parallel processing and multi-band selection.
With Melda Production free plugins, I can use Waves Audio Studio Rack to make them multi-band which defeats the purpose of thier MB line of plugins. The free plugins bundle is much cheaper than thier MB counter parts too, $27 during the black Friday sale.

It's an average sounding compressor IMO. If you have any even remotely respectable arsenal of compressors you can skip this.
Thanks!
I have Waves Audio SSL G-Master Buss Compressor. Liked it enough to consider maybe getting a Solid State Logic's version of thier own stuff?? Or am I perceiving this wrong?
I hate iZotope Ozone Standard making it's strip only for plugins and if you want to use any of them as separate plugins you got to buy advance, otherwise, Ozone has a compressor. I am trying to get away from iZotope due to them having "levels" of plugins, instead of just making the same plugin for everyone.
I have HorNet HA2A which I was amazed how good it sounds. I use it too.
I will save my $20 for something I need!
Thanks!

Demo it.
Hate to install something from a company I never installed from before unless I'm almost dead sure I plan to buy it after a demo test, if it works for my system and if they have a windows certification.

16 hours left.
Anyone know anything good or bad about this plugin?
I'm also curious if this is a deal or not??
Have you seen it for less?

I spend too much time testing synth presets
I agree. I've done that too. Once you get your desired plugin... Now you've gotta spend hours trying to find the perfect preset. 😒
After finding that preset, your so exhausted, you'll go back to searching for a new plugin again 🤣

Or with Reaper's n-Band-Splitters (multiband split to several tracks) and ReaGate. For drums the Oxford Drum Gate of Sonnox does the best job in my opinion (defining spill).
I want to learn more about this .. Any video or location to dive into that?
-
It's better than RX Music Rebalance!

Wow... Reaper is on Fast tracking for updates? It wasn't but two weeks ago I was looking at the 7.03 update.

I'm waiting for them to update the UI so it isn't super tiny. Sounds good but rarely use it because the controls are so small.
So, the UI, even after 10 years, isn't resizable?

I see this... But I can't find any videos on it saying anything worth wild about this product. Plus.. It's over 5 years old.

Looked over thier other deals... Nope, I've seen it for less.

I just wish they would combine Multifreqs ability with Total EQ. That would then be the Ultimate EQ!
