not sure ifits related but my hotby pass is just disabling itself and i have nothing bound

so im using effects dropped onto my vocal track not on the part with the volume and stuff the actual track with the waves...and when i double click on the effects the hot buypass button is enabled on all of them i turn itoff go back to my effect to fix my EQ or something and they're all hot buy passed again. i dont have it bound to anything is this is a glitch?
