  1. Hello everyone, Is there any convenient way to record automation (controlling knobs on a VSTi using the mouse) for 32 bit VSTis that are bridged in the current version of CdB when they are added to the project from the insert>Softsynth menu? Unlike 64 bit ones, there's no "W" to tick on the frame surrounding the plugin. I tried what Scook suggested in http://forum.cakewalk.com/How-to-automate-VST39s-x86-32-bit-in-Sonar-X2-64-bit-m2778433.aspx but that didn't work. I can work around it by adding VSTis the "old school" way, ie create both a midi and an audio track -- on which I insert the desired VSTI -- and route the midi to the plugin. If I click on the W on the audio track, any knob movement gets recorded. Thanks for your help! J Edit: further explanations.
  2. Thanks Terry. I use Wavosaur for that purpose. It works really well too and integrates perfectly.
  3. Thanks a lot Scook. I guess I'll keep on opening the clips in another audio editor then when I want to perform simple speed/pitch changes without stretching.
  4. Sorry to resurrect this thread that I stumbled upon while trying to figure out pretty much the same thing as the OP. I copied Stretch.ax from the last available SONAR_Platinum_Setup to C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core and tried to Regsvr32 it (as admin). Unfortunately, I got an error message implying the module Stretch.ax might not be compatible with the version of windows I'm using (win 10 - 64bits). Is any of you able to actually use Stretch.ax in the current version of CbB? Many thanks, Mdfbrk
