i was born listened Jarre, Vangelis and someone alse , I agree with you it's quite dance oriented but ...  only 119 bpm it's makes almost chillout / jazzhouse

oh Tom ... do you listen 4th time sure ? wow , it impresses  you  to much , I suppose  
for the bass line I used UVI Soul Bass , I don't remember then chain at the moment but if you are interesting to , I'll check  it
