Excellent. I'm hearing dance music with intelligence. An avalanche of rhythms and melodies. The production is great. The instruments are balanced perfectly. The mix sounds really, really good, you may want to think about having a professional audio engineer whose work you respect have a go at it. The only element I found somewhat lacking was the vocal towards the end. I think the idea is great, but the timber and execution of said vocal is the weakest element of this strong piece. I can't tell if it's Melodyne or an AI or something else entirely. I'm impressed with your command of getting the delays in time with the beats, something I'm just starting to explore. Good Luck🎶🎶🎶🎶

Dear Larry , thank you vary much for your comment , I'm Trying to improve my technique.
    cheers

That groove pops for sure! The bass especially, it's like I can hear the fingers on the tapewound strings!!! Kudos. The funk guitar that comes in around :40 is mixed very bright, I dunno, might be worth rolling a bit more upper end eq away from it? Or drop it .5 db? Just a thought.

How can a mix be funky as hades and still have gobs of clarity! Very very niiiice.

    cheers,

    -Tom

    thanks Tom, much appreciate

Hey, I have Soul Bass too!  I do like it . . . I'd totally like any effects chain you'd care to share . . . Lately I've been using some Amplesound ones, the A in particular.

The tone you got was sweet!

    cheers,

    -Tom

Really like this, as Bjorn said reminiscent of early electronica with a more Jazzy flavor!!

    Cool, loved it

Thank you, yes effectively it's inspired of JazzHouse

As noted reminiscent of early electronica, I think there might be some Jarre influences in here too.  He seem to have taken a slight more dance orientated approach to some of his stuff recently.

i was born listened Jarre, Vangelis and someone alse , I agree with you it's quite dance oriented but ...  only 119 bpm it's makes almost chillout / jazzhouse
    thanks

Just enjoying my 3rd or 4th listen. Any mix where the bass hass this tone and shines without being muddy is worth a go, in my opinion. What did you use for the bass? It kills . . . I also liked the panning of rvb/delay? you had for the mallet woodblock blippy thing around 3:00 - 3:20 . . . and the wah guitar as well. Lots to like here!

Would love to hear the tale of that bass . . .   so well done!

    cheers,

    -Tom

oh Tom ... do you listen 4th time sure ? wow , it impresses  you  to much , I suppose ;)
for the bass line I used UVI Soul Bass , I don't remember then chain at the moment but if you are interesting to , I'll check  it ;)

    thanks Tom
