Overloud should start to think about kind of bundles if they want to sell more...

There are many of RIG libs and more and more in preparation. Nobody is able to get them all separately even if interested... :( It is just too pricey...

    here here...

I've emailed them several times about this.  I own several of their TH-U bundles, and I'm still sometimes confused about what I own of their's and what I don't.    I'd make the same argument for Rematrix.

  2. I had an issue upgrading (link said it was out of stock).  The Boz people fixed it lickity split.

I really like this update.  It addressed a lot of the issues I had with V1.  It's much faster and easier for me to dial in.  I've moved on from the SPL TD because it can thin things out.  The SPL does "click" fine on a kick drum, but dialing in punch isn't so easy.  Transgressor does punch very well.  It can also tame the spits I get when I'm using these types of processors on acoustic guitar (plucky vs. strummy).  So this and the UAD Sonnox Envolution really cover me well.  It's well more than a $30 tool.

Still no luck for me today.

When you log in and look under "My Account: My Products" (then logging into the ever dreaded here ilok account), can you verify that it's not there?

A lot of my friends (and I) had the same "already registered" message, but right afterward checking in the products tab it showed up.

Requires a UA interface to run, so that is also apples to oranges, especially considering the price of any of the non entry level options a production house would want to use.

I agree that I'm not sure Harrison has the clout to charge that and get a bunch of takers, the market will quickly dictate if I'm off base.

Okay, fair enough...  You can get a UAD Satellite for $1200 new + the Neve DFC for $149, bringing the total to around $150 cheaper than the Harrison.  Does the Harrison include DSP?  If so, and if you could "Instantiate 100's of MPC Channels on a system to recreate the Harrison MPC console processing experience in Pro Tools and/or across an Avid control surface.", this would be something to pounce on.

Also, every post house I know/interface with has the uad platform- literally everyone of them.

Let's take UAD out of the equation.

    Waves SSL G channel:  $39

    McDsp McDSP 6050: $50

    Wave Arts Track Plug: $30

    Brainworx Console N: $99

Steven Slate VMR: $149 ...  or for oranges - $1500 would get you access to all their plug in's for a decade (or longer depending on the promo).

$1500 isn't even in the ballpark.  Large post facilities have budgets, but they aren't stupid.

  5. I logged in.  Filled out the info.  They emailed a confirmation code within 10 seconds.  I confirmed, and instantly got serials for all these, which were also emailed:

Got the package with booklet and USB, did the initial registration with XChange but haven't received the security code via email to get to the serial #s.

Ah, gotcha.  I haven't opened the box yet.  I'll do it today.

Amazon.com has ChromaCast Guitar Maintenance Pack on sale for $3.12. Shipping is free with Prime or on orders $25+.

Note, temporarily out of stock but may still be ordered and will ship when available

    Includes:

    Guitar Polish

Guitar String Cleaner (lube up for a great time...)

    Guitar String Winder

    Microfiber Polish Cloth

Annnnd, let the debate about using this on your guitar because it has XYZ chemical in it.

  8. I use it often to breath life into tracks.  It can distort / harsh things up quickly if you go overboard.  The mix knob can help with this a lot if you don't want to dial down the bias and intensity trackballs.

Try the demo, and use the presets "track silver"  and "a little magic"  on your 2 mix, and you'll quickly discover what it does and how well it does it.

  9. Meh.  Not a fan of this company.  I had a bunch of sessions I had to mix that had it all over the place because it was included in the Slate bundle at the time.  I signed up for the sub, and later I ordered a year during some promo.  I cancelled my sub, and signed up with the year promo, and they ended up double charging me.

Also, the diffusion seems off compared to the hardware.

They also kept teasing that all these new plug in's would be added on and they never came.  Later they added the Goldplate, which is great, but I'd rather just buy it outright.  I'm happy with the UAD (which is currently a buck cheaper by itself).
