unfortunately venomode is no longer available, Phrasebox is a very good tool for ideas, but I haven't found anything for exporting the phrases to midi or in the piano track. You can copy it and place it in the playlist (FL Studio), but that won't be of much use if you want to edit the phrase. Anyone have an idea ?

    Does LibreArp work for you?

I have a colleague who uses Reaper. Because it's cheap. And then spends hundreds of dollars on Scripts by nvk, because without those scripts it's not as powerful as he would like it to be. For that money he could have bought Ableton Live in the first place. 😐

Aren't there paid Max for Live scripts? Also are you implying that Reaper isn't powerful without paid scripts? Sure, depending on the music you make, you may need a synth VST (and you could use Vital and Surge is the budget is limited), but scripts? There are more free Reaper scripts that one could possibly have time to go through, not to mention that Chat GPT can write Reaper script code 😃. You certainly don't need Ableton unless you're collaborating with someone who uses Ableton exclusively. Also, not sure how to beat say this but, the insinuation that Reaper users are broke wannabe Ableton users is a bit elitist IMHO

Hoping that this year they have another 50% off sale so that I can leverage my vouchers.  If they do the same this year it'll kick in sometime this week.

It was Friday the 13th, right? They always have a sale on that date (but I do hope they have a sale this January too 🙂)

But, what good is a group buy when you already have everything. You still have to BUY one item (the flute) to get the rest free (which are useless if you already have everything else).

Orange Tree Samples group buys offer percentage discounts proportional to how many people sign up for the group buy regardless of how many items each buyer intends to purchase. I think you're thinking of IKM group buys where you get a number of items free with a purchase.

I already owned everything in the bundle except Shreddage Drums
so my price to get "the Bundle" was only $36!  My price to get Riffage
Metal was $45 and I had a VIP 25% code which made the total for both $61

Btw when they add products to a bundle do those become available for free or do they need to be purchased separately? Was thinking about getting Telos, which seems to have been added to Shreddage 3.

Respecting your opinion based on your experience (i.e., not attacking you at all), how does RP's RG (admittedly based on the demos) compare with AAS's Strum, IK's Guitar Libraries/Samples, and MeldaProduction's guitar samples (if you have any experience with any or all of those.  Thanks.

IMO AAS strum can sound ok in the mix but ironically fingerpicked and not strummed. Their engine is pretty tweakable, I like that a lot. For electric guitars, if you use an external amp, you can get decent results. But it really depends on the type of music you want to make.

IK has well recorded samples, but not a lot of articulations. The word on the block is that at some point they will release Modo Guitar, but no one confirmed anything from their side.

What guitar samples does Melda have? I have their whole catalog and didn't know about this 🙂

Btw, Pianoteq 8 also has a guitar (classical). They will most certainly add more guitars to their instrument collection in the future. You can download a free demo.

Aren't they both exclusively for drums/percussion/beats?

I bought Atlas a week ago and haven't used it much yet but I believe it filters out all long samples like loops and vocals and such. I don't think it's suited to be used as a general-purpose sample manager. Maybe ADSR Sample Manager or Waves Cosmos would be better for that.

Or Sononym, I think that one has the most sophisticated algorithm
