So back at the end of 2018 I purchased a Toontrack Drum MIDI 6 pack and a EZX Expansion Value Pack (3 EZX expansions) from Time&Space.  I had used 3 of the drum codes and one of the EZX codes and was generally just waiting for more interesting releases to show.  This weekend I tried to redeem one of the drum codes and was told the code was an "Invalid Serial Number".  I contacted Toontrack with receipts and the codes as sent by T&S and they told me:

"The serials have been voided at the request of the retailer and they ask that you reach out to them with further questions. We appreciate your understanding."

So I sent email to T&S and they did give me replacement codes, though one of the replacement EZX code was already registered in another account and I had to get them to send me a second one.  I asked for an explanation and they said (and I quote): "There are other issues regarding some codes at the moment. "  that was it.

I've gone ahead and redeemed all the codes they sent me (more drums!), since I'm not sure I trust them anymore.  By invalidating codes they sold to me I kind of see it like they stole my property (it wasn't theirs anymore after they sold it).  They did fix the issue but I'd say strange things are afoot at the Circle-K.  If you are sitting on Toontrack codes bought from Time&Space you might want to check them.

Same thing happened to me around Black Friday. Tried to use a EZ X 3 pack and said invalid. Went to Toontrack who sent me to Time+Space. I included Toontracks email to me and everything got worked out. Took a few days but got worked out. The serials I had were about 15 months old at the time. Time Space sounded a bit like they know who was behind it. Maybe former employee? That what it seemed like to me.

If I’m right there are 10 plugins left at $69 list, so if another18 $20-deals are to be expected, eight of them will be of even higher value. Here’s still hoping for some real scorchers like E27, FETpresser, EMT 2445 or VintageWarmer2.

Um, I was told there wasn't going to be any math.

Cheers Larry.  Could be tempted. Wondering if there's any overlap with sounds available in AAS Swatches. Will have to compare preset lists

There are presets that are only in Session. At least they were when it was released. It's worth that even if you have the full version.  I have both and use them both. I really like AAS so, grain of salt.

I agree to a point. The problem I've always had with XLN is that they don't put out enough content for AD2. For a while, they were doing one new kit a year. Then it turned into every year and a half. Now it's been what, going on 3 years? AD itself was fine though I do feel we need to see an AD3 with more options, available kit pieces, etc. because let's be honest, SD3 is crushing it right now and is really the top dog in the market. AD has a long history of quality stuff and I still use them all the time but they need to do more to update it. They have always been really good about the way they update versions as well. I just wish there was more development to keep it up with competition.

Couldn't agree more. Odd to have all kinds of demand but no one wants to take your money.

  5. I bought this and all it is is the open to "Don't Stop Believin'", that's it.

Grem, that has been my experience too. I don't even care what the name is. I almost, always build the keys part in EZ Keys first and then transfer to the song so I can go back and find where I got the midi from.

There is a fine line between genius and insanity...

That's the opposite of what I've found. I've found it's very wide and gray as H..E..double hockey sticks!!

Just FYI.....if you heard any of my music, you'd be definitely putting your life at risk.

Mesh, we've talked about this before. If there was a Super Hero named BS man he would be flying up to you right now, squaring up his shoulders and saying loudly, b+++ s+++!!

  8. Ive kinda felt like Waves already had a subscription I got in on without knowing it. Loads of cheap plugins and an update every so often that requires  WUP. If the new versions start coming more often than they have in the past then that might be what they have been doing all along.

13 tubas, eh?  Perchance to dream! :)

Some "affordable" versions are great go-to guitars for sure.  My LP Studio was less than a grand from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville so it was definitely low-tier for them but it is a great player that I use all the time.  Every time I get it set up the shopkeeper tells me he gets multiple offers from people looking to purchase it.  He also knows I would kill him if he even came close to selling it.

I'm also more a fan of the lower-end affordable PRS models, for whatever reason.  I guess I just get on with those a lot more than the absurdly expensive models.

The Korean made PRS are good guitars. I have a PRS SE One that I love. It is basically a Les Paul Junior.
