  1. That's odd. I have a Kronos and it registers all controller movements including sliders without incident
  2. @Terry Carroll Thanks for listening and commenting! Appreciate the thought about the strings at the beginning, I actually tend to agree about the structure of it. My partner, JJ Terrell, composed and arranged it that way, and he was really set on it. He asked me to just do lyrics and vocals/melody, so my input was somewhat limited.
  3. Hey Lynn, thanks for taking time to drop in for a listen. Always appreciate your ears and comments!!

    PARP

Very cool piece, love the pulsing and flowing rhythm, and interplay between the synths. Great job!
  7. This is a collaboration I just finished up with some friends over on Soundcloud, J.J. Terrell and Josh Clary. J.J. composed this beautiful tune on piano, and asked me to contribute lyrics/vocals. I did all the final mixing/mastering in CbB. We didn't originally intend this to be a Thanksgiving song per se, but it kind of worked out that way! Hope you enjoy! J.J. Retrograde

I definitely "put my back" into this one! I don't really know how to categorize this. Basically started with a beat and some ambient synth and vocal textures (all vocs except the really high voice are my voice, not synth/samples), and took off from there. Kind of ambient-beat-rock, I guess? Anyway, I really enjoyed putting this together, and I hope you enjoy listening as well! Be sure to listen through to the end to catch a fun little mash-up, "Who" might it be?? πŸ˜‰ What we need is love indeed...
  13. Fabulous work as always Nigel! Good luck with the release.
  14. Hey Bjorn, thanks so much for tuning in and for the kind comment!

  16. Hey Steve, thanks so much for the listen and for the kind comments. Really means a lot!
  17. What John said above is the right answer. Send your Midi data to the PC thru USB. Run L/R audio outs from the keyboard to a stereo pair on the interface, and use direct/zero latency monitoring from your interface to hear the midi that you're working on. Edit in CW until you're happy, then record the audio thru your audio interface. I do this all the time with a number of external synths, including a Korg Kronos.
  18. Really cool soundscape Dave, and I'm sure great exercise for your hand as well! Keep on pushing, I'm sure you can get your plane back where you want it to be. Great work! Followed you on SC as well.
