Great sounds. Didn't realize I had missed the release of Padshop 2.

Ran across this interesting post on Reddit with links to free sounds as well as a tutorial on recording and processing the sounds.

Dark Mode is the 9th collection of sounds in the Plughugger series of soundsets for Omnisphere 2 where they take a synthesizer, sample it and recreate its characteristics in Omnisphere.

Dark Mode is a collection of analog style sounds, based on the Leipzig-S synthesizer created by the British synthmaker Analogue Solutions. The Leipzig-S is a monophonic analog synthesizer which has a raw tone, advanced modulators and a built-in analog style sequencer that can also function as a high-speed modulator.

With Dark Mode, Plughugger sampled a large selection of its oscillators: from raw waveforms and intervals, to complex modulated sounds, effects and drum sounds. From these sounds they recreated the sound and feel of the Leipzig-S in Omnisphere, and pushed it further by creating advanced sequences and added a set of analog effects.

As a bonus, Plughugger also recorded a handful of sounds through a Sherman Filterbank to give the sounds an extra layer of attitude.

Apart from single presets, Plughugger combined another 50 sounds into complex layered multisounds, from everything to huge sounding bass sounds to advanced sequences and song-starters.

Dark Mode contains 244 sounds in the following categories:

63 Bass / Lead Arpeggios / Sequences

26 Drums and Percussion

16 Effect and Hit sounds

19 Pads / Synth strings

36 Bass sounds

26 Synth sounds

8 Textures and Soundscapes

50 Multi sounds

They only became reusable today after the Plugin Alliance Facebook page turned into a customer satisfaction nightmare.

Looks like the limit on the "A" vouchers has been removed.

I have the Huion Inspiroy H950P and I've been very happy with it.

I was thinking Oberhausen and or Lion. Also had my eye on Triad for a while.

I downloaded the trial and really liked what it did and the way it worked. Decided to purchase this morning and used t&s points to take $19 off.

Everyone here seems pretty jaded with this plugin...is there something out there that does this already or better?

I'm really torn on this one. On one hand, I think I can accomplish the same thing within my current DAWs now that I see the concept. On the other hand, I have FOMO about what it might become and how early adopters might be rewarded. Oh well, just broadcasting my personal issues I guess.

I'm just trying out Ableton now, but I think the answer is yes you can. 

Not negative on Unify, just trying to understand it, btw.

Although it looks cool and I kind of want to get it, isn't this pretty much how instrument racks in Ableton work?

It's a surprisingly deep library. Lots of possibilities for ambient style music. I paid considerably more for it, but I have used it.

iZotope has removed the MPS 3 option from that Meloydyne redeem page.  I send them a ticket about getting my Groove 3 code.  

Seems like it wasn't working anyway. Kept saying MPS3 was not activated on my email, even tho it showed in my account on the website and in the portal. Ticket sent.
