  1. Really glad to learn my two requests are already implemented. Am I correct that after 180 days expires, assuming you pointed the downloads to an available network share that the Product Manager will pull the sounds from there when you're installing on a new computer?
  2. I was just thinking about that. Feature request for @Peter - IK Multimedia 1. Preference in IK Product Manager for location you store the backups of all the sounds so if you're installing a new computer you can point to that after the 180 days. 2. While we're at it why not ask the Product Manager where you want to put your backup so it can put a copy there once it's downloaded.
  3. The IK Product Manager is a big improvement over the old system of Authorization Manager plus manually downloading individual sound zip files, then individually expanding them all. I just installed all the freebies in 5 minutes and then walked away from the computer - everything was downloaded and installed when I came back to the computer hours later.
  4. I sent a question to support about not being able to pick B-3X and AmpliTube Leslie from my list. Did I just read above that I can't pick it because I might accidentally buy a product I already have? I have recipients for my original purchases in mind - I guess I should buy the transfers.
  5. I used JamPoints to help with my purchase of 200 gear credits - it got it down to $112. I then went to buy Modo Drums in the Custom Shop and was disturbed to not find it there. Luckily I had been thinking about getting SampleTron which was in there so all is well. I then used the GB freebie to get the Modo Drums cross grade. I've got a serious Toontrack setup with a converted acoustic kit using UFO Drums crossbar triggers and 3 ply mesh heads and a great product called the eDRUMin to translate the hits to MIDI. The hi-hat implementation is especially well thought out. At first I used DIY cymbals but came across someone selling their Yamaha PCY 3 zone cymbal set which work well with the eDRUMin. Haven't had time to delve into MODO Drums but I think with enough effort they may actually be better for live playing.
  6. I have those - Martinic ComboF and ComboV
  7. I don't think they will move to a WUP model. Instead people can catch up on new offerings through sales discounts, bundles, group buys, jam points and crossgrades.
  8. I have SampleTank SE from TS2 Max Does the "SampleTank 4 Upgrade" in my drop down list bring me up to SampleTank 4 Standard?
  9. I am working through my promotions this evening. Hammond B-3X is in my list but I can't select it. Same with AmpliTube Leslie - odd, considering that I CAN select the T-Racks Leslie. I bought B-3X and the AmpliTube Leslie individually when they were released - Yes I have a Hammond problem I submitted a ticket to IK
  10. Leslie for TRacks is a separate product from Leslie for AmpliTube. They are even slightly different (not in sound - but GUI options are slightly different. I know this because someone who has TRacks Leslie has been sharing presets for various Hammond VST's and I always have to recreate the Leslie settings manually in AmpliTube - that is until this Group Buy - will be picking up the TRacks Leslie just so I can run my friend's presets.
  11. I just rescued a stereo recording of our band off the board by adding Sunset Live Room - Studio 2 - Position 2. I dialed back the decay to 60 and used the HPF to only apply reverb to 330 and up.
  12. My Syntronik is from Total Studio Max 2. I started ticking off the individual instruments I'm missing and then saw in the handy spreadsheet from ALC (Thanks!) that I can just get "Syntronik Deluxe Upgrade from Syntronik" to fill in the gaps. Just checking in here to make sure that is right? The spreadsheet indicates I have SampleTank 4 SE from TS2 MAX. I should also get the SampleTank 4 Crossgrade (in at the $199 level) - correct? SampleTank is a bit of mystery for me - I just scrolled through the instrument categories. If you have Philharmonik 2, Syntronik Deluxe, B-3X and the Electromagnetik pianos and Modo Bass and Modo Drums are there instruments left in ST4 that are in popular use?
  13. These are going to deserving individuals who will use them but probably wouldn't have bought them
  14. I bought these individually: 1. Hammond B-3X 2. AmpliTube Leslie 3. ARC 3 4. Miroslav Philharmonik 2 It makes sense to use the group buy to get a freebie of each so I can transfer the originals - correct?
  15. Because of TSMAX2 I'm already doubled up on Miroslav 2, Fender 1 &2, SVX 1 &2, AT5 Leslie. Those are enough for my nephew but I have a question who's answer I searched for but didn't find. Are the products you add to your user account from the GB promotion transferrable down the road?
  16. I can transfer my Axe IO but not the AT5 that was bundled with it as a separate but I you would think that transferring the Axe IO would include the AT5 that came with it. Thanks for the tip on clicking on the serials button to see the transfer button
  17. I'm discussing with my nephew transferring several of my existing licenses to him. I've kept track of my purchases and know that anything I bought individually I can transfer to him. Where I'm not sure is the AmpliTube 5 that I bought in a bundle with the Axe I/O. I think I saw in this thread that it's considered a free product and therefore not transferrable? Is the only way to figure what can be transferred is to buy a transfer license and attempt to transfer a serial? That's fine because I'm definitely going to transfer Miroslav 2 so I can attempt other serials first. Thanks for any advice on this.
  18. I'm kind of obsessed with the Hammond B3 so I bought the AmpliTube Leslie and later the B-3X from the regular store upon introduction. I'm going to transfer those to a nephew and get them again through the Group Buy. If you're scraping the bottom of the barrel it only cost you $20 to give (or sell) straight licenses (not from bundles) to someone.
  19. I just registered SampleTron after buying it in the Custom Shop for 200 Gear Credits and nothing happened. Was expecting game show announcer "You've won 11 IK Multimedia products of $199 or less" The Group Buy available items did show right up in Promotions.
  20. When I first started with IK products I bought the iRig UA 2015. I wanted a little bass amp emulator for my Android phone. That worked out well, I like the sound of the B15 on it (written in stone inside hardware - phone app is just to make adjustments). I had always wanted the Miroslav collection since reading about it back when he created it (was fan of his bass playing in Mahavishnu Orchestra). I was amazed when I saw because I had bought the iRig UA that I could buy the full Miroslav 2 for $130 in 2017 as crossgrade with Jam Points. Then because I'm frugal I went the Custom Shop route to buy SVX and Fender 1 so I had some decent amp sims for amps I would use. Because of all the above steps I got to the IK Buyer 101 level. Over on the Cantabile forum I defended the confusing IK marketing as something you can sort out and if you wait for sales you can get the products at very affordable prices. I posted a link to this thread there calling it a college level course on the Group Buy
  21. Thank you for confirming that. It would be very confusing for existing IK customers (used to seeing only crossgrade prices for products) to see only free products at "non crossgrade" prices and therefore not available,
  22. Have read entire thread. I didn't know that Peter_IK was a fan of specialty Italian foods. I highly recommend he try Rummo Pasta . I'm about to enter the GB and have a question. I bought 200 Gear Credits using Jam Points to get it down to $112. I thought I was going to buy MODO Drum with those but was mistaken that it was available in the Custom Shop. At first it looked like I had a real problem because I've got Total Studio Max and AmpliTube 5 SE plus a bunch of Custom Shop Amps I started out with. Then I looked into SampleTron which I want to buy. If I buy that at $199 I should be able to get MODO Drum as a free product correct? EDIT - I see that I'm always seeing MODO Drum at $199 price because it's a Crossgrade - I probably need to make it my first purchase don't I?
  23. Hi abacab, I also purchased the Total Studio Max bundle last year. I later decided to get an Axe IO Solo so bought it as a bundle with AT5 so my incremental cost for AT5 SE was about $50. My current favorite bass amp sim is the Aguilar 750 from AT5 (NY Bass). The Axe IO Solo has worked out to be one of the best studio purchases I've made. Guitars and basses play and sound better through it. A nice bonus was windows sound sources keep playing even after I load Reaper.
