How usable are these libraries? The demos sound great (as do those for most of the 8Dio libraries), but I'm thinking these might be one-trick ponies, especially after reading Simon's comment.
-
I watched the first 40 seconds, thought that was the entirety of the video after the fade-out, and thought "they've made a choir library release trailer, and the only instrument I heard was a piano"... and then realised there there samples afterwards
Sounds quite good for a free instrument - there's some warbling or phasey effect (not sure those are the right words) to my ears, but it sounds better than some free choir libraries I've used in the past.

What do you mean this is that deal? I paid $14.95 for El Clapo on December 1st and now on 12/10 he announces a bundle for $19.95, with no mention of upgrade pricing.
I've written him. Hopefully he will give me a code.
He does have a policy of 30-day returns. So at the worst I will ask for a return on El Clapo and then buy this.
Let me know how he replies please - I bought during the Black Friday week and would be interested to hear if there's a 'bundle upgrade' discount.

There are 4 different editions of this, the one they are giving away is the
Lite version, which has a 9 Gb IR Libraryhttps://www.inspiredacoustics.com/en/products/inspirata-workstation#editions
I'm not sure what gave me a bigger shock - seeing for the first time that Superior Drummer 3 needed 236 GB for a complete install, or that the Personal edition upwards of this reverb requires 140 GB of disk space.

What does this piano usually cost?
I'm guessing this one's always free. There's a Hammersmith Pro, which is currently £89.50 (usual price £179)

How many (computer display) monitors do you have to go with that beast?

Analog Lab V looks almost identical to Spotify...

They might not post them one-a-day, but each offer is marked with a date in their blog, and it seems that each offer is valid for about one week

I get the whole excitement of queuing for a free gift thing, but I think it's a bit weird that Sonokinetic are effectively asking to get DDoS-ed by legitimate customers hoping for a freebie. You would think they would either massively scale their web servers, or just lottery-email 500 (or however many) licenses to people who sign up.

Three possible explanations:
- It really isn't a deal a day
- The most recent deal is a bundle - it counts for at least one day
- They're taking it easy for a Sunday, and will post two deals tomorrow - they were a few days late on one of their November new-gift-every-Monday promotion

Did anyone get an upgrade offer?

Finally I will have a whole orchestra.
I thought you were 'done' with orchestral libraries
1 hour ago, Reid Rosefelt said:if it's priced the same price as Cinematic Studio Brass it will be $399 for first time buyers of CSS, and $279 for owners of CSS or CSB.
How do you get the discount? Do you have to email them?

normally you set an attack or release time in milliseconds.
On Turbo Comp you have 0% - 100% as values to adjust those controls....no actual "time" fuction, percentage instead.
0% is less time 100% is more time, but no idea what time value it correlates to.
Lets say I open up Plugin A and set it to 62% (and lets arbitrarily say it equates to 73ms); if I set the similarly named control on Plugin B also to 62%, would that also equate to 73ms? or does it differ by plugin?
Sounds a bit like the concept behind the Blindfold EQ by AudioThing to me

Now I really want that "Finely Chopped Piano".
First you need a piano, and an axe... then it's time for the hard bit...

Could someone explain what this means please?

Anyone looking for mallets should also check out HandHeldSound Scoring Mallets, currently on sale for $79 (not sure how much longer for)

Yes, the Advanced and Standard upgrades can be made from earlier versions at a fixed price, but when it comes specifically to the Music Production Suite, only the preceding version provides the best update price, while updating from an earlier version is more expensive, as demonstrated in the current offer: https://www.pluginboutique.com/meta_product/2-Effects/39-FX-Bundle/6923-iZotope-Music-Production-Suite-4
While this is true, something to note is that if the prices were to stay the same, an upgrade from MPS 3 to (a currently hypothetical) MPS 5 would be
- MPS 3 - MPS 5 (skipping MPS 4) £257.00
- MPS3 - MPS4 - MPS5: £171 + £171 = £342.00

Right now, you can get the entire Voxengo Suite, including lifetime upgrades, for $255.
I'm sure you already know this Pluto, but I just want to point out to others that according to their website, upgrades will be free; new products may or may not be free depending on future decisions.

Is the bx_townhouse worth the voucher price of $29.99? or should I just wait for something like mpressor?

Rather confusingly, I think what husker bought is called Cinematic Guitars Infinity, a 4 in 1 package with RRP $599.99
https://www.samplelogic.com/products/cinematic-guitars-infinity/
There's Cinematic Guitars Organic Atmospheres, normally $299.99
https://www.samplelogic.com/products/cinematic-guitars-organic-atmospheres/
Finally, there's a Cinematic Guitars Bundle for $849.98
https://www.samplelogic.com/products/cinematic-guitars-bundle/
So if you buy from both APD and Sample Logic, you can effectively get the (most expensive) bundle for $249.98 - approximately a 70% discount

Yes. Thus his move to the new website.
Also a history of bugs...don't forget the bugs.
Hmm... not sure a change of website changes whether or not the same binaries that are uploaded to it contain viruses... (or bugs for that matter)

I pretty much have everything I need (and more). It's unlikely I'll be spending at my past rate for the foreseeable future.
Isn't that because you buy pretty much everything as soon as there's a sale on it? 😁

If I'm not interested in using Rigs, is upgrading from TH-3 to TH-U worth it? (e.g. modelling quality, features, etc) I already have Bias FX 2 (yeah, I know some people say it's rubbish, but I think it sounds good enough for me)
