  1. Nice job. Here it is embedded.

Its probably got to do with this.... As I said, check your routing. Making sure your monitor mix is not bleeding into the signal. Need any further help, just ask.
  3. As Steve has mentioned, I would start first by contacting support (support@cakewalk.com). Straighten out your password issue and then download your platinum installers using your account page or Command center. To go a little deeper in contrast here... When you bought Sonar Platinum you needed to install using your online account/command center. Check through old emails to verify you have the correct email address before contacting support. This will help speed up your process.
  4. This most recent update that just dropped today has fixes for the way region FX are handled, I suggest you give them a try. This fixes a long standing bug where both Melodyne and Drum Replacer would go out of synch while jumping around the timeline in a live setting.
  5. I totally understand your situation @TedPiano. I just wish there was something we could do to get your problems worked out in Cakewalk. It would be a shame to lose good users like yourself.

Recording what ? Audio, midi ? My guess would be routing.
  7. I seem to remember someone else having a similar issue a few weeks back. (always dropping out @ 4:15). Couldn't find that thread off hand, maybe someone else remembers. But I did find this... http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3750379 Using any AUX tracks in this project ? PS- glad you got Cakewalk up and running.
  8. Do you have "Create new lanes on overlap" checked in preferences ?
  9. I see all 4 of them here on Windows 8.1 and as far as I can tell, your right they are useless. Im not sure I would throw in all my cards and say this is the OP's solution but I appreciate this info as I hadn't heard of it before.
  10. This is a really great idea @msmcleod. This gives me a great idea to be honest. I think im going to start keeping a quick export of my project ideas. because lets face it, we don't often export our ideas. they stay in project form. this quick export will be nice as a reference. Because in 10 years from now I wont have to sift through each one to hear 5 seconds of what that idea is. To your idea- Maybe a ruff export of all instruments be could be mixed to include a quick demo of the song. Similar to the way Export works, minus FX (instruments would need to be exported). This would be a valuable asset to the browser.

    some Help needed.

Start with basic tests. Check your I/O in Cakewalks preferences Check your speakers using PC sound (just to make sure cables are in check. Check the plug in itself, run some type of audio loop to test verify
  12. Correction on my last post, K does mute clips. Check to see if the clip is locked. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X3&language=3&help=Menus1.051.html
  13. Hitting K locks the clip, not mute. Once a clip is locked no further editing can be done. Try CTRL+K
  14. Possibly due to the samples ALL being loaded at launch versus loaded and sitting idle while (after launch). Im not really sure how Cakewalk interprets this TBH. but it would seem the samples aren't loaded in memory yet once you are adding them to an established open project. Possibly they are sitting in cue awaiting a signal.
  15. yea samplers aren't really my thing. I do use Session drummer for triggering samples, but a stand alone aint going to help my productivity. With that said, I would love to see a sampler with Cakewalk. Imagine the features, the design. it could be a great hit with its users. So I would love to see a sampler.
  16. not really. you can use track templates though in order to speed the process up.
  17. Have you also tried to export a mix of the said problem to verify its not a monitoring problem ? A simple export will verify this immediately. I know what your thinking.. It works on one Focusrite but it doesn't on the other Focusrite. You may have different monitoring set ups set for each interface.
  18. And what are they running at ? Bit rate as well ?
  19. Taking a long shot here but... Could it possibly be sample rate related ? What sample + bit rate are you running at ? And are you running the same rates on both devices ? There is also an issue (I believe ) in the newer releases from Focusrite for their 3rd gen devices. Many have rolled back to the originals.
  20. Im sorry but I simply do not understand, 1- Would you like help ?? 2- or just want to announce to Noel that you no longer use Cakewalk ?? If the first, I will surely give my time to help you. If 2cnd, I wish you the best but remember no DAW is free of errors.
  21. This is also what I would recommend. ^^ The reason I mentioned WinRAR is because sometimes uploading to the cloud gives you "upload one file" options. Hence Packing it with WinRAR.
