  3. Hi All, Saving edited One Shots to a Folder for Future Use Sorry if this has been covered years ago Been editing one shots to get rid of glitches and clicks to put in Session Drummer and so far so good. However I would like to have the edits in a format to save to a folder for future use. Can this be done? Where would I create the folder? Thanks for any help Best Ed
  4. Hi SLIP and Craig, Thanks so much for the replies. SLIP - I've been experimenting with Reaper but the prospect of all the exporting is pretty soul/workflow destroying for me. Also I really like CBB and have a nice little flow going so I'd rather stay on the same page. When I get time I may delve into Reaper a bit deeper but I'd prefer to stay with CBB. Craig - Thanks so much for all your expert advice and direction to my query. As I prefer CBB I'll try to get this particular technique under my belt. Thanks again to you both for very helpful advice and direction Best Ed
  5. Hi everyone, Bit pushed for time so sorry if this has been covered before. Need to slow a track down for a vocalist and then speed back up to original tempo. So far the vocals are locked into the recorded tempo and don't match the raised tempo. Any suggestions/directions would really help. Thanks Best Ed
  6. Hi Chuck E Baby, Great - Am using Project - Tempo Series of Tempos i.e. start and end tempos and it makes a hell of a difference to work flow Thanks again, Best Ed
  7. Hi All, Re: Changing Project Tempo Have a very simple Start Template for beginning ideas i.e. drums AD2, Vox and Guitar. Before recording I try to estimate the required tempo by singing and playing to a very simple beat so I can set the tempo and begin recording. I used to be able to simply change the tempo of the idea by inputting the tempo in the control strip/panel Now I change the tempo and it only alters the first bar which means lately I’ve been having to delete all the following bar tempos in the tempo view and try again. This problem is killing workflow and if I remember correctly never happened in X1 X2 X3 or Platinum. Have I forgotten something very basic? Any help most welcome Thanks Ed
  8. Hi msmcleod, Thanks for the reply - pretty much what I was thinking at this stage - it's just that in the Cakewalk Step Sequencer the ability to change midi inputs for every drum instance i.e resetting a midi drum eg moving the Toms from 65 to 72 closer to the Kick at 36 by resetting unrequired drums eg Snares at 40 to 44 and also the deleting capacity of removing unwanted drum instances is something I find extremely flexible and helpful. Thanks again - I'll keep adding to the workarounds Best Ed
  9. Hi all, Re: Addictive Drums 2 Drum Map in CBB Has anyone found a way to install the AD2 Drum Map in CBB. I’ve got the AD2cwt. In the X3 Cakewalk Content and it works with SPLAT I can open SPLAT Projects in CBB and the AD2 Drum Map is present but if I open any of the CBB Templates it is not available. Any thoughts? Re: Can the AD2 Drum Map be used to create a fully Mono Output Kit Is it possible to create a fully Mono Output Kit in AD2 using the current AD2 Drum Map or would that require the development of a specific AD2 DM. I’ve been trying to get to grips with creating drum maps but so far have bombed out. Any thoughts? If anyone is looking for the AD2 Drum Map here is a link that still works http://static.cakewalk.com.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/AD2-Drum-Maps.zip Thanks Best Ed
