Hope they r not the demo versions

They could be demos.. it doesn't mention that unless I missed it, but demos aren't normally free for a set period of time. They're not full versions though either as looking at the size of the full ones, 40GB for all of these isn't enough. So maybe they're a cut down version. My opinion of Muze so far hasn't changed.. haha..

What is Waya? They want me to install their software to get the freebies. I'm way too paranoid to do that. Especially because it makes no sense to me that they go that route rather than handle out license keys, unless the software installs some adware, spyware, malware, whatever.

It just seems to be a Chrome extension downloader which isn't completely surprising given it's 40GB. I'm still installing and downloading on a second computer though and would rather not install it. But it will be uninstalled as soon as I'm finished.

  3. I'm not sure I like Muze.. I don't know Waya, so I'm not sure I like them either... but free is free so hopefully this helps someone!

Note: This was from an email from Muze directly.

  4. Great price for it! I'd say they're dropping it this low to get the last remaining sales and then will release the update and start selling that. People that paid a $100 less than the previous low sale price are probably less likely to complain once the new paid update is released shortly after.

Are you sure? Look at the time. I'm pretty sure we tied. Could it be???

In any event,  it's no big deal if the mods delete mine.  But I'm kinda amused by the possibility that we could have placed it at the same time.  I scanned page one, then did a search and nothing came up before posting. I noticed yours before one hour and it showed the identical post time as mime. So I'm calling it a tie! But I know cclarry, and you and I will never match cclarry! :)

Anyhow, if the mods see this, you can kill my thread. No problem.

I am sure, but only just! I refreshed after I posted and your post wasn't there.

If you refresh a few times so not right at the start of the minute, you will also see my post will show as a minute ahead, so there definitely wasn't much in it 🤣 I'm not really worried either way though, I more just mentioned it because it keeps the history more lean when searching for old posts and sales if we're thinking about buying things.

And you're not wrong with Lars.. even getting a tie would be an achievement at times.. Haha..

Cranesong Phoenix & Acoustica Taupe.  It'll probably change next week, and then change back the week after.

I use the Kush one knob series a lot, Decapitator, and the Black Box Analog Design HG-2 but for more specialized applications.

Some great choices there and I'm the same, the top 3 would change every week.. haha..

I've used them all apart from Phoenix. They're all surprising quite different either in sound, or features. I might have to give Overstayer a demo at some stage just out of curiosity.

I'd buy if I didn't already own it.

One of my top 3 saturators/distortion plug ins.  Also works in Modular(big deal to me) and Amp Room.  The add on's are also great.

But yeah, $90 on sale can be a bit much for some.

Out of curiosity, what are the other two?

I still haven't received my license yet. Starting to get a feeling that I'm not getting one at all :/

Shame, because I was starting to get relly excited about trying out these plugins.

I've had a few with Plugin Boutique that took a good 24 hours or more. They probably got a run of people buying that item. Fingers crossed for you and don't give up just yet 🙂

Did anyone receive their license yet?

On my plugin boutique account it just says: "Your order is currently being processed and your serial will be available shortly. You will receive an email from us once this has been deposited into your user account. Have any questions? contact us at support@pluginboutique.com"

Has been like this for about an hour.

Yes, mine came through fine, but it said the same thing and took maybe 30 mins to an hour. I wasn't sure I was going to actually get the serial at that price, but almost fell off my chair when I did!

I was already logged into Softube anxiously waiting to register it!

Easily the best purchase of 2024 for me so far 🤣

Famous last words 🙂 It seems this is "almost" never true in today's "on sale every other day" environment.

I think If anyone proved that lately, it was most definitely UAD.

Softube definitely seems to defy that and holds their prices more than most Devs, but this was an absurd price.

I picked up MM-1 last year for $59, so with this upgrade that makes it $178 for the entire Weiss Collection which is $999 and generally gets discounted to around $500.

You can get it a bit cheaper than that by picking up MM-1 and their DeEsser and I was going to upgrade to DS1 or complete that way, but DS1 alone never sells for $178.

It does mean I could've skipped buying the DeEsser, but I got to use it in the meantime and I'll put it up for sale on KVR 🙂

They've pulled the listed from the store now, so I'll need to to mark it as expired.

  14. (PRICING MISTAKE) Weiss Complete Collection (Upgrade from Weiss MM-1 Mastering Maximizer) $119

    https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/21-Channel-Strip/6847-Weiss-Complete-Collection-Upgrade-from-Weiss-MM-1-Mastering-Maximizer-

Run as fast as you can, don't demo, don't think, just buy 🤣

Even if you have to buy MM-1, buy this first, or at the same time.  This is about as good as it will ever get!

  15. I normally snooze on updates for at least a week in case any bugs get found, but I'm actually really surprised there are any with Kazrog.

I almost just updated anyway assuming they would be safe, but held off... Seems that may have been a good choice this time around.
