I created a spreadsheet of all the products in the group buy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQJOiit3wKhbyN87OdguckZzYDo_xz3PYDM2fanVWsyiDCXGzB3Ys3iWYhsDRiTog8fX3G3CYAJPVKA/pub?gid=0&single=true&output=csv Load it into a spreadsheet app like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers (it's saved as a CSV file). Turn on filtering on the first row. I found it useful to be able to filter based on category and price (yes, I rounded up), exclude the ones I already have, and plan out my purchases and freebie picks (and prioritize them). Here's what it looks like for me: I hope others can make use of it. Edit: Updated spreadsheet. Fixed price/category for AmpliTube SVX 2 (was upgrade price).17 points

Easy Fix - Take computer outside away from all buildings and WiFi interference. Liberally soak computer with gasoline Wait 2 minutes to allow gas to deep clean all components ignite computer & run to safe distance After computer cleansing process has finished buy a new one, the new one won't have this problem. Note: backing up your data before utilizing Easy Fix may lead to more satisfying results.5 points

You can pick up MixBox Crossgrade for $149.99 after coupon MIXB50 of $50 is auto applied. Can't use JamPoints, though. You'll get into the group buy at the $199.99 tier.5 points

I'm still no mathematologist, but it might be interesting to revisit the numbers from ten days ago. Specifically: The ~300-and-a-little/day rate has held pretty steady overall, in that the GB hit 4000 right around the end of day 11, and 300 even would have taken 12 days. At the updated rate, with 15 days left, we'd expect to hit 9000 by the end with no extension -- and no bump of people joining later, no one doubling up, etc. I'm sure there's some day-of-the-week variability, but it's perhaps interesting to note that today the rate looks to be around 500, which is a fair jump above the average. Perhaps the quickening begins? (Edit: And I'm certainly no mathematologist, because I said 300x12 = 4000, when I was thinking of 333. The rest is probably maybe somewhat reasonable, though.)4 points

Here's a good post on the KVR Audio Buy & Sell Forum: “How to Maximize the Value of the IK Multimedia Group Buy” https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8187676&sid=89dd75e7ad627c6f9f41d9d3985a6940#p8187676 It provides specific recommendations. "So, here's what I think you should do. Option 1 is for new customers, while Option 2 is for existing IK customers. Options 3 and 4 are bigger and better possibilities for either existing or new customers." It even links to a spreadsheet that's more complete than the one I had created. Check it out.3 points

@Bapu I hope that the nice people at IK support can solve your request! There are a few tools for producing a list of VSTs on a machine. I often have to check, to avoid buying duplicates (and kick myself when I'm too lazy to check and I still buy an occasional duplicate) I like one that was posted in this forum and generates an excel file (link below), Cubase also has another one, etc.,3 points

I had a similar puzzle once. It turned out there was a duplicate clip buried behind the "real" one. That's why you need to examine the project - it could turn out to be something totally unexpected.2 points

Today we released part 2 of our H949 blog and I wanted to share it with any fellow gear-nerds out there. https://www.eventideaudio.com/blog/aagnello/flashback-72-h949-new-one Flashback 7.1, “Ding Dong! The Glitch is Dead,” took a deep dive into the technology at the heart of de-glitching pitch change, an advance that made tuning pitchy voices and instruments practical for the first time. Now, let’s return from our ramble down Nerd Boulevard and learn some of the other reasons why so many H910 fans sprung for over $11,000 (in 2021 dollars) to buy an H949 as soon as it hit the market. The H949 greatly expanded the sonic horizon of the simpler H910. The rapid advance of technology made improvements impossible to resist and new features possible to imagine. Plus, we had the benefit of users’ suggestions and pleas. The H910’s designer, Tony Agnello, knew what he wanted and needed to do next. Some things were obvious, others less so. To accomplish some of the ideas he had in mind, his first step was to design a compute engine that could generate as many memory addresses as possible for each audio sample. By designing a primitive yet really fast address computation machine, the H949’s design made possible unprecedented digital muckery, as implied by the front panel control legends: So New, So Cool In 1980, Suzanne Ciani demonstrated her “Voice Box, ” which featured an H949, to the amusement and bemusement of David Letterman and his national audience: Read the whole part 2 of the blog here: https://www.eventideaudio.com/blog/aagnello/flashback-72-h949-new-one2 points

Yes I have seen the counters go back and forth a few times. I blame the page's refresh code for this... or someone at IK toying with us! ?If the later, I can't blame him and he must have such a grin! But no, Peter wouldn't do that to us... right? ? Even if it would be hilarious. ?2 points

Waves is a black hole. While they have many good and useful plugins, the Waves shells SUCK BIG TIME! And don't get me started on WUP. If you have never installed a Waves plugin, stop while you're ahead. I got so sick of dealing with all of the Waves BS, that I installed ZERO of the couple of dozen plugins I have licenses for when I replaced by DAW computer.2 points

Hmm, been eyeing an external, was gonna go with SSD to match my computer's drives, but really, for storage? That's a good deal. But reading reviews of it on BB site, a lot of folks were able to score this drive for $190 during Black Friday, so I might just hold off and see what is offered then--2 points

Bit of fun and I enjoyed the lyric .. oh and the finger picking was fine to my ears, have to agree with Jack here and ask why the drums ( if any ) are so low in the mix. ( was gonna grab the 'I don't know' line but Tom beat me to it!) All good though cause I like the grove ? ALB Steve2 points

For some odd reason Defying Gravity played first. I don't know, do you? Guess not, cause you did say "I don't know what I don't know"... ?'s on both. t2 points

Apparently reading first paragraph and only first sentence of each new paragraph to try to quickly do your homework before first period doesn’t work in forums hahah. Had I read about this earlier I would’ve been less frustrated heheh2 points

What you'll need to do is go into the Launchkey's settings and find where it lets you assign different MIDI channels to the lower and upper portions. Any MIDI controller that supports splits should have that capability. You know what they say: when all else fails, read the manual.2 points

W.A. Production may be onto something interesting with this one https://www.waproduction.com/plugins/view/zqueezer $19.95 launch price (50% off full price, although W.A. is one of the companies where most things seem to go on sale regularly and full price may not mean much) This is a "creative sound tweaking" type of plugin that "squeezes the harmonics" (does frequency shifts in the higher frequencies). It reminds me of some of the wild sound manipulations you can get with Unfiltered Audio plugins, or with PSP N2O1 point

Your description makes me want it, as a fairly rabid Unfiltered Audio and Glitchmachines fanboy, but as you say, they put stuff on deeep discount all the time, usually through PB.1 point

Although their Summer Sale just ended, Nucleus Lite Edition is a very BIG sounding orchestral library for those looking to get a taste of what other Audio Imperia libraries sound like. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list for updates on future sales and specials.1 point

@Bapu Sorry to hear you feel that way. One is able to choose something that is in a bundle they already have because you are also likely able to transfer that bundle, and in general you are able to purchase additional licenses for specific products you already have (some folks need to run things simultaneously or on more than the allotted number of installs per the EULA, etc). If you made a choice inadvertently and no longer want that to be among your choices, I'm sure IK Support can assist. Thank you.1 point

Yeah, with electronic drums, it's more about getting out of your own way than anything else. Use your ears, rather than experience. They rarely need corrective treatment, it's more about personalisation and 'roughing them up' here n there. You almost have to work backwards and think 'how can I make this sound less perfect?' I tend to throw them through Decapitator at least 4 times, and put hats and percussion through EchoBoy for some really interesting rhythmical inspiration.1 point
