  5. You shouldn't need AmpliTube 4 installed, AmpliTube 5 will pick up what you have. I doubt it would end up unlimited, but I'm trying to get this policy reconsidered and changed in some way.

  7. Hello all I am not sure how many of you dislike the idea of having to check USB / network hubs power settings every time windows has an update or you connect and reconnect devices. I personally find it a PITA. I did some research and came over a powershell script to do exactly that; I readapted it to cover USB Hubs, USB Connectors and Network cards. Placed it somewhere in your computer (i.e. C:\). You need to be in the directory you placed the script for it to work... Then run powershell in admin mode (right click on the start button --> Windows Powershell (admin) --> go to the location you placed the script (i.e. cd c:\) --> type "& '.\Disable Power Schedule.ps1'" It works very well :), and saves a ton of time especially if you have many USB devices like I do. Fell free to use it Nicolas Disable Power Schedule.ps1

  9. I do use MRhythmizer a fair amount. It's somewhat like having the step sequencer from Rapture as a separate plugin, and MTurboDelay is so full featured that Swiss Army knives like to say they are the MTurboDelays of cutlery. Like you, I got MSpectralDelay as a gift and it has graced as many of my tracks as yours. I do use vocoders from time to time (not for vocals, more for "gating"), so maybe MVocoder might be worth a look. They also have this MTransform in the bundle which seems to cover similar ground.

  14. MVocoder is the best vocoder I've tried. I spoke (favorably) of MTurboreverble earlier in the thread. I got MTurboComple as a PB freebie and it is useful (a vintage emulation by and for people who aren't much into vintage emulations). I have the non-MB MRhythmizer and dig diggity dig it. I got MSpectralDelay as a gift when they introduced it, and since then it has been used on exactly none of my tracks because I find it rather unfathomable (but not in a "whoa, that's messed up and cool" sense like Dumpster Fire). The rest of them....haven't tried them. MTurboDelay came with the Essentials bundle, but I've only had that for about 24 hours. My collection of delays is already crazy, so it will need to bring a lot to the table in order to inspire. Many of them are "MB" versions, and their fascination with multiband processing has never caught my imagination. Something that leaps out at me: if you feel you need two different rotary speaker simulations, they are present in the bundle. MRotary and MVintageRotary. I had thought that the rotary speaker itself was by nature a "vintage" effect, but who knows? Why is there no MRotaryMB? Why isn't MVintageRotary called MTurboRotary? Was it because with the much beloved industry workhorse MModernCompressor, they needed something "vintage" to provide balance? The world of Meldaproduction can be as inscrutable as it is comprehensive.

  15. Cakewalk by BandLab has the feature set that SONAR Professional had, including aux tracks, patch points, and the ProChannel. It has further features that have been added in the past 3 years. It's still supported and in active development. Also, free of charge.

  21. Just had some quick fun with some free stuff and also my purchase of Triad during the PA recent sale. Not sure what to call this one. The picture is 3 of my Mexican folk art carvings that are called alebrijo, which I think means fantasy. This type I think is called aliens. There are some that are amazing ! I have maybe a dozen of different types. I thought they went well with the concept of covid-19 variants coming for ya. Wanted to capture the motion aspect of motion and running, and some weird stuff floating around in this song. Thanks for listening or comments, stay safe from these guys, Treesha

  23. Devine Lies So after a long Covid induced delay, our new album, Regeneration is released today. Regeneration is a selection of tracks from our first 5 albums, some recorded over 20 years ago! The first DAW recordings were done in Guitar Tracks, if anyone remembers that!! The oldest track was recorded to tape!!!! So where we could, we used the original recordings – if unable to use the originals, we recorded new takes and then completely remixed and remastered the album. The first track, which is one of the oldest, is Devine Lies. Hope you enjoy it NEW WEBSITE We also celebrated the release of this album with a brand new website https://devinelie.com/ Nigel https://music.amazon.co.uk/artists/B002GLCV8K/devine-lie https://open.spotify.com/artist/2Sd0BBWtT5fv0GaXLoKTAC https://www.youtube.com/c/DevineLie/videos

  26. Is a per-plug-in setting. The plug-ins must be enabled in order for the 2x button in the transport module to have any effect. The upsample settings are in the upper left window decoration above the plug-in UI. FWIW, I wrote a tool to manage CbB upsample settings. Use either the built-in plug-in or CbB upsample settings. Do not use both on the same plug-in.

  27. Investment in Melda's things has one crucial benefit. They don't require any additional payment with any version advancement. So if they are improving algorithms or functionality you are getting them free of charge. Owner of their plugins can feel appreciated for that reason similar like for Acustica Audio. And maybe they are not the prettiest but really powerful and useful. And they GUI as is written as shared by all plugins library has this advantage that with update is applied to all plugins at once. Unlike PA plugins which older and newer plugins are often like day and night difference about options for the same type of plugin.

  28. Wow -- Excellent!! Judging from work that you have previously posted I am guessing that the photography was done by you. It is absolutely excellent. The music that accompanies the photos really enhances the majesty and wonder of the subject matter of the photos. I regret that I have only been out west, in the USA, two times. If this doggone pandemic ever abates, I am going to have to make a concerted effort to get out there! Well done Bjorn!!!

  29. Hey Lee and glad to see you back on the form. This is a good uptempo rocker full of optimism indeed! I don't know why but it reminds me of Lou Reed a bit. Good stuff -- I enjoyed it!!!

  30. Nice one Douglas! Great vocals and I love those guitars. Not to draw attention to my chronological existence on this planet (?) but this song and style reminds me of some of the many great bands that could be found in the Tampa Bay area and that were recorded on the Paris Tower label throughout the 1960s. Good work -- I enjoyed it!!

  32. Hey Tom - thanks for listening and for your comments - I think the mix sounds pretty good - but everybody has different ears and opinions - no worries. Regarding the lead vocal - I sang this one with a Studio Projects C1 - I bought it about six months ago ($250) - some complain that it's a bit too bright, but I think for pop and rock it sits quite well in a mix (with my voice anyway). 20 years ago, when it came out, it had rave reviews - some comparing it to a Newmann U87 (wihich I can't afford). I like it , so it's a keeper for me.

  33. Thanks for that. I made a few small changes. I added 'echo $IN' in the for loops and a final 'pause' to see the results. I needed to run: Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force in the powershell console first, because I have script execution disabled.

  40. Also, for those that don't know, you can deconvolve other reverbs with MConvolutionMB. I used it to create some impulses from GlaceVerb, so I would be able to recreate some of those sounds in my hosts that don't support 32 bit plugins.

  42. Again, this removes 32 bit version, so you might want to check if your legacy projects have any instances of FM8 before running this update.
