I've decided to get serious about my YouTube channel, and do a lot more videos. I've just done two videos on SORA, a library I really love. And which is still 50% off, at the price Larry lists above, so it still qualifies for this forum. In the first video, I talk about the features and GUI. Part Two is me making music with it. If any of you could find it in your hearts to subscribe to fhis frog's channel, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks, Tiger3 points

I feel kinda sad for these guys now their friend Stutter Edit has left them behind. BreakTweaker is probably feeling it the most.3 points

This one was the latest theme I was making last year (2019) before specifically concentrating on easier on the eyes Themes which I've released a couple of since, so it’s bright, colorful and may be seen as garish by some but as it was mostly done I decided to finally finish and release, someone might like to use it. Free Download Here.... M-Curves Cakewalk Theme A combined total of around 150 hours, sometimes much more, goes in to creating each Theme I make, then there's more time spent to update them whenever BandLab makes changes or additions to the Cakewalk GUI to ensure any changed or new items display correctly and match the Theme, I also don't make all these Themes for myself, it's more of a hobby and to share the end results with the Cakewalk Community for their use and enjoyment at no charge, Any Tips/Donations via the following link for my time and efforts in creating and updating these are greatly appreciated, however small. Thank You! ❤️ https://www.paypal.me/MatthewJohnWhite2 points

why be so cynical? Robert has tons of free videos on youtube helping the community and seems like a nice guy!2 points

I know I posted this before, but this is a bit of a different take. A few folks and I talked about recording and posting some original songs that we've never really performed before and I picked this one. Truth is, I've never recorded an actual performance of any song I've written. I always recorded one track at a time in pieces and parts and once they're done, it's damned rare that they ever see the light of day again. So I took a deep breath and after a couple of run-throughs as rehearsal, I fired up my Logitech HD Pro WebCam C910 and let her rip. As you can see in the video (sort of) I used a Microphone-Parts T12 mic into an Audient ID22 interface and right on in to Cakewalk. I did two tracks, one with me on vocals and guitar (a Martin D-16GT) and one with me doing a harmony part. I did have an audio output from the web cam but I did not use it. It was a bit of a pain getting the audio and video lined up, but mixing is much easier with only one or two tracks. A compressor, a little reverb, some EQ and Izotope's Ozone 9 Maximizer and this is what came out. It's a pretty rough but it was a lot of fun doing it. I'd appreciate any feedback on mic placement, eq and any other recording technique that comes to mind.2 points

Yes both are. Each is different and can be used together. But if you had to get just one? Get the one on sale!!2 points

Steven, You have redeemed yourself with that statement. If you have the P-140 then your collection is good, however, Pigments makes it much better. ??2 points

This gives people time to hop on and settle in for the long haul. It also lets them know that I am actually prepared. If you ever watch my online tutorials or any other video of mine, you’d know that I give away more than I ever get back. The last few months, I’ve given away 15 or more of my paid courses, 3 or more one on one Skype calls, and HOURS of FREE online teaching. I give WAY more than I ever receive man. You want the ChannelX - brings them all together. All of them combined can effect the sound really nicely.2 points
-
I found that if you buy ChannelX you also get the separates. On the other hand, I also found several posts stating that if you’ve got the three separates you simply have to ask support for the channel strip. This was confirmed by a guy from Lindell.2 points

Got the Lindell Audio 7X-500 and PEX-500 for naught. Already had the 6X-500. Thought I’d also get the ChannelX this way but it’s still a $29 upgrade (which is identical to the current sale price).2 points

Oblesk is great. I almost bought Scalar 2 and this pretty much fills in perfectly. So no need for Scalar 2 unless you really need those advanced scales and chords and whatnot.2 points

M-Slate is based around some of the design of my M-Blue Slate Theme but is still a whole different Theme and much easier on the eyes than Blue Slate. Free Download Here... @Fleer Yes you can get the Channel X for free if you have all the components. I was thinking the same. Getting it and Yellowdrive for $20.1 point

It's fading more than one clip because you've got more than one clip selected. Either clear the selection, or select only the clip you want to fade.1 point

Seems you can ask PA support for a free ChannelX if you have all three separates.1 point

Same here. PEX-500 will be more third or fourth Pultec EQ. Will give it a go to see if it brings anything different to the table.1 point

Thanks @Philip G Hunt! This was my first "real" attempt at scoring so I know there's a lot to learn. Gotta start somewhere! I liked your piece - it was very moody, and a bit dark like the video. ?1 point

At least the upside is we have until DEC 11, 2020 to redeem it!1 point

Well I hate to sound like a salesman or something, but this is one of the best plugins in my arsenal. I was going to post something earlier on the Accusonus drum bundle deal, but I decided it might be rude of me. I think TF@ still runs circles on drum plugins being released today. Yeah the sounds and the gui are dated, but for what it can do it's a no-brainer for me. If I didn't have it already then I might have looked at the other deal. I find it a quite versatile plugin AND fx ... yes it does both. Words only mean so much, but as luck has it I just dropped a track today using it and EZ-Bass, so you can judge for yourself. I'm not a top hit-maker or producer, but I try to do my best, so if you can get past my bad songwriting. I'm only using TF2 for the rhythm track, and that includes all internal fx. TF2 is running about six different loops with one using a random stutter fx. The loops are a mix of stock and custom, as it is with EZ-Bass. I just wish they'd update TF2 like they just did with some of the others.1 point

Here's the deal: We get your credit card information to sell on the black market and ruin your life. You'll get to keep that sweet memory of when you thought you could get all the Fabfilters for $10. Wowee! ? We'll always have Paris. If anybody thinks these con artists are actually selling software, then let me introduce myself. I am Prince Tiger the Frog. ? I need to transfer 2.5 million dollars of my royal fortune and a complete set of Waves Plugins (with WUP) to you. But in order for me to trust you, you'll have to give me full access to your bank account. This is completely legit, I assure you.1 point

? If you look at the bottom of this page https://www.meldaproduction.com/MonasteryGrand The "Other Add-Ons You might be interested in", then look at the "Installation Notes" for the packs, the three MDrummer packs, over 20GB of samples, are usable with the FREE Kontakt MSoundFactoryPlayer too!!! To remove a generic driver, rename/delete the dll or remove the entry from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO There should be no more than one ASIO driver for each audio device. Generic drivers such as the ones from Cubase, MAGIX, FL or ASIO4ALL conflict with factory drivers and should not be installed if there is a factory driver installed.1 point

Yes, I keep thinking I need to spend the time and get over the learning curve to get the most out these plugins. I just haven't done it yet...1 point

I don't recall seeing this posted here. I found a pretty decent FREE program to manage my ever increasing hoard of samples/loops. It's ADSR Sample Manager. It does a great job of letting me search and audition the sounds in my many files. Allows you to search by key, tag, BPM, genre, etc. Also it lets you add tags. When you select a file, it shows you the waveform and allows you to preview the sound with the ability to apply some minimal processing to the signal. My favorite such program is actually Loopcloud, however to get all the features of the program enabled you need to become a member.1 point
